HDR is a must! This option will improve your 1080 and 4K images

Smart TVs are a must! I use Chrome Browser and a Android Google Pixel phone so a Google TV was a no brainer....with this combination I can "Cast" my computer or phone desktop to my Google TV, this comes in handy for watching online content (like my church service or 4K You Tube movies).

Sound bar is money well spent...even the best TVs will benefit.

and the last thing...size matters...Bigger is Better!

$4K T.V., Johnny Knox?

I had a 60" "Super-Ultra Vision" that weighed 400 lbs.

When I, with my beefy friends, packed it up to the third floor.

I paid some beefy associates to hall it back down 3-flights of stairs.

The frickin' thing gained weight over all those years . . .

On the other side of the price spectrum if you want a 4k TV that to me looks great and has a RuKo interface built in.... here is mine my laptop, computer, TV, Amazon and Hulu box for under $500. Few complaints. So light I can curry it with one hand. I got it for the Ruko, price and 4k 55".

I played with my Smart TV for about 3 weeks, then the novelty wore off, i have everything the TV can provide on my PC or my Android box, i can even get 3D movies on my Android box, i did like and use the 3D function on my TV but even that ain't been used for over a year now, the TV cost me just over £1,500 think it was 5 years ago now, same TV's now cost around £400 to £500, would lie a 4K TV but at the moment i can't see the point because there is hardly anything being transmitted, or if there is you have to pay those robbing bastards at sky for it.

unless they make or sell them differently over there you surely will. When I recently bought a new TV I couldnt find one that WASNT a smart TV.

Not so sure thats an option anymore unless you go with giant PC monitor.

I have one of these and LOVE it.

Fucker even upscales DVDs and regular res tv to look great.

We use the 3d a lot when watching movies.

I can stream from the TV or the PS4, both work great.

Just seen this today. Samsung is on the list.

https://wikileaks.org/ciav7p1/

"The attack against Samsung smart TVs was developed in cooperation with the United Kingdom's MI5/BTSS. After infestation, Weeping Angel places the target TV in a 'Fake-Off' mode, so that the owner falsely believes the TV is off when it is on. In 'Fake-Off' mode the TV operates as a bug, recording conversations in the room and sending them over the Internet to a covert CIA server."
