I'm looking for a good, however, not stupid expensive video card for my son's computer. He has my old GTX 660 and obviously he needs an upgrade! Any suggestions would be appreciated! -LH

As soon as I can get my hands on the newest vid card from AMD I am on it!!! this is newegg.com https://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007709&IsNodeId=1&Description=Nvidia dual gforce gtx 1060&bop=And&Order=PRICE&PageSize=36 I would suggest not getting the one with only a single fan. You will need the dual fans. I would recommend any of the asus ones.

I always shop at regular computer stores for items like that. Edited October 8, 2017 by Angelz

He's running a GTX 660 right now but is running lower graphics. He's going to be getting Battlefront II for Christmas, and when he played the Beta, he had things set low and was having issues. I know it's only the Beta and it has issues, but I ran the Beta and had no issues and I'm running a GTX 970. Besides the video card, he's running a FX-8320 CPU, 16G RAM and a 120Gb SSD on an ASUS M5A97 R2.0 MoBo

For example a 750Ti 2GB is equal to a HD7850 2GB and can run most games at medium settings. A 1050 will do the same. So, check out the power output of your PSU and budget. There will be soon a 1070Ti out on the market. Rumors are that you can't overclock them. But, who does that anyways to get 10 or 15 more FPS? I don't and will hurt my wallet anyways. Anyways, do not SLi or Crossfire anymore if you think to plan that. Worst case issue is that you are better off to sell the old card and upgrade. A nice card would be a 4GB videocard, but you can be in peace with a good 1050 or a 1070. Awards

Then click on Can you run it. It will show you a list of what you have and what the minimum requirements are to play the game. It is really good. https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri Edited October 15, 2017 by Angelz Damage_inc- 1

I use to only use DFI LanParty boards and then DFI quite making consumer boards !! Pissed me off !! Great boards. Rock Solid. I have tried Asus, MSI and just found Gigabyte a solid replacement for DFI. Awards
