If having the absolute latest thing out there then spend the money for OLED. On the other hand, if you are like me and tend to buy new stuff every four or five years, why spend the extra $ when you can get a very good TV for less than half the price. We just got the TV below for my Dad at a great price and he couldn’t be happier. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sony-65-class-64-5-diag--led-2160p-smart-4k-ultra-hd-tv-with-high-dynamic-range/4803800.p?skuId=4803800 The biggest reason I would say don’t fork out the money for OLED right now is you will probably end up with buyers remorse when that very TV technology is available for 1/2 the price in the next couple of years. Anyway, whatever you decide is the most important thing to you, I hope you find something that makes you happy. Good luck! JohnnyDos and TBB 2 Awards

I do not like bright screens and neither does my daughter. After the pixels burned out on my monitor I started googling for reviews and found that it is just how LG makes their product. Some get burned pixels and others do not. Now I use Asus and will never buy another brand but Asus from now on. Sometimes it's just better to spend a little bit more and get a brand name. Guess it depends when it is on the assembly line. Wednesday or Friday? LOL who knows.
