Flush I am almost completed with the next mod update, I am just waiting for the MW2 mod guy to implement his mod into the base freezetag mod and then most of the bugs will be fixed.

I really like the mod too, nice 1 Rugger, i believe it is still being tested so here are some likes and dislikes...i like all the new weapons, i like how you can choose what your character looks like, i like the fact that a few people can all defrost a teammate at once, it cuts out the arguments about stealing defrosts and promotes teamwork which is what freeze tag is supposed to be all about, i like the fact we can get airstrikes, choppers and Nukes etc even though i will never have enough straight kills to earn any of them, i like the new maps........I dislike the nightvision, it is cool that we can go into night mode but the night vision in many maps is really bad all i can see is a blinding glaring light as if someone is shining a torch in your face, unless the whole map is really dark with no light at all i feel it doesnt work, and also on maps with tunnels that have lights in them how come it gets darker in there too surely the lighting would'nt change at all as you are usually inside a building, some maps the night vision is ok if we could get all maps to look like that it would be good, I dislike the fact that when you defrost someone it only registers when you assist in a deforst ie a few defrosting the same person, when you do a clean defrost with no help it never registers and this way you never really know who is a good team player, or just a glory hunter as you can have many clean defrosts and your assist score still says zero,mmm thats about it really the good points outdo the bad points, maybe we can fix some of these things but anyway still a great mod well done Rugger.

Good mod but the night vision grrrr !

Great idea with the MW2 server.

There are some maps i cant play and the game stalls - more correctly i hear a "bipp" and the screen goes black and i hv to start the game up again. But i cant rejoin as long as the particulary map is being played. It has happened with at least 3 different maps.

 

mp_stream is one of the buggy maps.

 

Any solutions?

Very nice, Rugger! I really enjoy the thawing process.  It takes longer, and the day/night change adds to the extra challenges this mod already brings.  Promotes teamwork to get the job done faster.  Not very opinionated about weapons or maps, I die the same regardless.

The xp is going realy slow maby there is some thing to do about it, give us more xp each kill or get the total to get xp down if been playing it for a week now and i still need to get 60.000 xp .. maby i point to improve

Maby the night thing is realy stressfull if you just spawming and your the last one ( if you know what i mean )

and what the hell is wrong with the nuke? If you deploy it .. it wont let you win the round .. it says you do but the scores dont say that .. and you dont get xp from it if you deploy it ?

i have HUGE probs with downloading the maps. 30kb/s sucks!

i had that prob with 2 maps now (4t4scrap and the one before).

why is it so damn slow?

i'm trying to connect to the server and play since 45 min now...

Have slow downloading problems as well.

 

I do agree with SOB with regards to sniping. Too easy due to the accuracy and relatively larger magnification through the scope. Barely need to steady the rifle. IMO, its easier than stock COD sniping.

hardcore when you are on the main screen of COD4 hit the tilde key ~ next to the 1 and on top of the tab key. A place to type will come up on the very top of the screen. Type in connect 8.12.22.32 then hit enter and it will bring you right to the site

 

 

All i can say for the people that are having issues with the download is use the downloader. We update it very often and just let it run all day, it will update itself and you wont have to download maps when you connect to the server

I never said anything about sniping Sexy, i don't use sniper rifles, never have, i was saying lmg's don't have any kickback and are easier to use on this mod.

Now I am lost.  I tried the ~ key and still nothing.  I dont know if it is because of something with windows 7 or is the regular call of duty 4 or call of duty 4 modern warfare 2.  Post ast modern warfare 2 but I have tried every key in my system to pull up the ip box.  What am I doing wrong?
