As I age my hearing gets worse. I hear about 30% at best. One Dr told me I have a lot of sound recognition loss. I have been trying to find a way to watch TV and play my games with sound. The headsets still don't give me what I need. I am trying the earbud style but there is a problem with those. When I first put them on I put them where I can hear pretty well. After a few minutes though the tend to fall out of my ears. I have large channels and for many years I thought that was the problem with my hearing. The Dr tells me that that usually means the sound is getting in but why not to my eardrums? Well, the earbuds direct the sound to my eardrums but they fall out. My question is is there a liquid rubber to smear on the earbuds that hold them in place? And then is it safe to use in my ears? Please I would very much like to find a way to make these earbuds work as they are the best I have found so far.

Don't use superglue...!!!

Seems one of the easier "helps" would be an awesome headset. My hearing loss is not what yours is, but I've been around others who have had little hearing ability. So sorry about that.

My wife and I have looked deeply into alternative remedies. I am not really trusting allopathic care too much, unless I need a bone set. Try researching "alternative hearing care/remedies".

Wish you the best on this BigPapa...🤙

I wonder if one of those 'jawbone' headsets would work for you?  Just a thought.

Maybe the ear phone caps you use aren't the largest available? Easy to switch.

Yep that would work. Hey @BigPapaDean search for Earbud Hooks. They are literally made to keep earbuds from falling out of your ears.

I use the powerbeats pro that have a loop for over the ears. There are many different versions on amazon. These never fall out.

My question is can I put the earbuds in my ears deep enough to control the sound to my eardrum or are the limited with that? I saw them and wondered!

The ones for the Apple ear buds slide over the round part and are adjustable. Earbuds still go in as far as they normally would. Like this.

with me being a little over half deaf myself, i refuse to wear hearing aids due to cause of ear infections, i sweat a lot in the ears, build up ear wax issues. so ear buds dont stay in and the constant discomfort and annoying struggles with them hearing aids and buds constantly falling out. i only use my over the ears headphones. I have and i love my PC gaming headset lg733... i also have bluetooth headphones and i LOVE em too. They are called FIO MOTUS. they can be also used as noise cancelation and it works like a charm for me.

can use vaseoilene as a sealer , only issue need to clean after each use  or on the cheap use the foam ear plug by making it a gasket by using a heated paper clip (cherry red) and bore a hole in the center of it image.png.0cbe79719118b2266740576aa00ba685.pngand streach over bud

dean that may be a issue going to deep in ear canal hench why you have hearing loss

the hook is the best option i see so far for your needs

sounds may have a hole in ear drumimage.png.2803626ea93b84e393e52425fd8910e3.png

the reason hearing loss
