XI fest Branson
YACCster and 3 others reacted to Dark Asylumn for a topic
I just wanted to say I had an outstanding time. Thanks to everyone who showed up. And to everyone who made it possible. I do want to say to the tarantula that it was completely unnecessary to join us by the fire on our balcony4 points -
Patriot Cruise And Salute Event
major-mark63 and 2 others reacted to Smeggie for a topic
As many of you know, back in February we had a house explosion about three houses down from us. The explosion killed my fellow firefighter Trevor Brown and injured 10 more of my firefighters. Two had 3rd degree burns, One had a shattered hip, another shattered leg, another crushed shoulder. All received significant trauma with regard to shrapnel wounds, concusions and ongoing pulminary problems. Fortunately most of them are on the mend. This year I became involved in a group called Patriot Cruise and Salute https://www.patriotcruise.org/ This is an annual event hosted right from our marina. Saturday I was honored to host on our boat, the widow of Fallen Firefighter Trevor Brown and her three amazing kids, along with my company fire chief and his wife. In all, the event hosted 105 honorees this year and 55 captains volunteered their time, their boat, their fuel and food to give the honorees a nice three hour ride up the Potomac River. After the boat ride, we enjoyed a great catered meal, and all honorees and volunteers received a nice challenge coin. I stuck a 360 camera on the back of "Cool Change" and created a little snippet of the first few minutes of the trip. Another boater grabbed a couple of shots of us. It was a great day and I can't wait for next year! EDIT: Video not playing in this post but you can down load it by clicking on the '...' if you want to see it LOL Try this link for the video https://digitaledgephotography.zenfolio.com/img/s/v-11/o138808896/c1/p1016350077-200.mp4 patriot cruise 2024.mp43 points -

On one hand I agree, on the other, i think to myself, dude, you are a good enough player as it is without having to look and seek out every tiny little extra advantage, just a lowly fat fuckface assholes point of view, so it doesnt matter at all LOL, game on1 point

Rules on COD4 MW2 freezetag mod
PickleRick reacted to Wardogs411 for a topic
yeah but most glitch areas like some roofs etc, can easily be accessed, a invisible staircase is not a glitch but a map intended feature in my opinion. As u can get killed and kill people to, so technically that should be allowed.1 point -

Absolutely correct on this one. I’ve played this game way longer than Rea but he smokes me on gameplay. I’ve played on his system and he has played on mine. I can’t see half the shit he sees when he plays. Our systems are almost the same except his card has the ti on the end. He set up all my graphics settings but he hits people way faster than I can process them being there. So yea I’m not sure the fresh meat is gonna eventually play in anyone’s favor. Go get ‘em kid.1 point

TBH, I'm struggling to remember when I posted in a video about that, although apparently I did. Yeah, I've been kind of into audio stuff for a long time, but it's not really a passion any more. I still have all my vinyl, too, and mine also dates back to grade school. Some of my first being Iron Butterfly – In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida and Three Dog Night - Live At The Forum. I've had a few systems over the years, but mainly the one I built when I was 18 and still in high school followed me for decades. Heathkit AR-1500A receiver and a pair of Heathkit AS-104 speakers. I coupled them with a pair of Magnavox (yup, Magnavox) speakers that have 15" woofers and horn tweeters. The Heathkit was becomming too much to try to maintain, so it's been religated to a pile of stuff in the basement. The two sets of speakers are now attached to a Sony STRDH190 receiver. I don't know what it is about that Sony, but a lot of people LOVE that thing, and so do I. The first thing I did when I hooked it up to those speakers was play the David Gilmour - Live At Pompeii, Sorrow video. I literally cried. It was that good. With apologies to my neighbors. Me at 18 building the Heathkit AR-1500A1 point

Meanwhile, back in North Dakota at the International Peace Garden. Note that my YouTube channel will be a few weeks behind my actual location, but here and on Facebook things are a bit more real-time. I'm in Bozeman, MT as I write this.1 point
