I added these. I think menu asset limits will be ok but cant guarantee. Good enough? The 'padlock' one means that streak has been disabled entirely and is not an option.

Every new mod just seems to have more stuff, can we just make it simple like it used to be, if people like the weapons in one mod why take them out or change them in the next mod. We cannot get anyone into the server to test this new mod because people don't like it, if they don't test it they can't put any views forward, it's hard work trying to get people out of the server and to test this one, most have already made their minds up and will not go back in...that includes some admins too. This is my last word on this, no fucker else seems to be interested, so there ends my interest too.

 

 

i wanne have a second server. maybe putting the exact copy of the other one is the solution. people whine about the redirect, solution. put the same mod as on the other one and we will get 2 full servers.

 

only problem with that is people like the current mw2 ny beta where they dont like the new one on chicago wouldnt work unless they use the current mw2 ny beta...just saying chicago stays empty and has since the switch over..cause the accuracy of weapons on new chicago people aren;t as good so they dont like playing it

chicago stays empty because everyone goes to the server thats populated,if we all pick a time and play there for a bit each day,people will show up.No one can give proper feedback if they dont even know about the server.Many people just join through a buddies xfire so if your on a server,,thats where there going.Alot of people dont visit the site, just join where the action is,Why would they join a server with no support from its own members?

thats what i say...put exactly the same mod on the chicago server as on the NY server and we will have 2 servers with great numbers constantly. put some different maps on the 2 servers so you may choose wich you like from time to time.

 

think it's at least a better solution than having an empty chicago server.

Well, this mod is getting play now. All the other servers are down.

 

I have to admit, it's the first time I've tried it. At first, I didn't like it AT ALL. I don't like not being able to thaw with a car. I don't understand how the killstreaks work either. After playing a few rounds, it grew on me. The weapons shoot good. I still don't understand killstreaks and hate that the car doesn't defrost, but I'm liking the mod more the more I play it.

 

I will go back and read this whole thread in the morning and see if it gives me hints on setting up killstreaks. :)

The car can defrost if the server turns it on, so it might be disabled. For the streaks, lets say you are a new player. The three default streaks are uav/airstrike/heli. If you dont want one of the defaults click on its name. Then all available options will be valid... except those taken up by the other two that have the same streak requirements. One of the three icons will change the usual grey box with a slash through it. Like a perk that has not yet been set. Choose one of the options to set the streak. More or less the same as Black Ops.

 

Because it was a little confusing some green check marks were added as a visual indicator for a selected choice. One of my earlier posts has screenshots. The screen shots also show an option with a padlock. That one has been disabled entirely and is not available as an option. This would be used if a server doesnt want a certain streak at all, or if the server wants to limit a streak to certain classes. If the 'killstreaks' button is red then you dont have all three choices set.

In the Chi server anyone notice any helicopter getting stuck? Going through some errors in the log Rugger gave me and one of them has to do with a heli maybe not knowing where to go. It might have been the Terminal map.

Doesn't seem like snatch n grab works tho, very slow to defrost. Other then that it's great for me (no more stoooopid jammer lol)

Well the jammer is in the mod. Just turned off for the server. But if enabled all it would do is prevent you from pressing the fire button. So you could still drive around.

thought people wanted the jammer i dont get why its been disabled....one of the reason i dont like playing in th enew mod...tired of getn blowed up by cars every other time..and besides what causes the car jammer glitch on the NY beta server is the emp to the car anyways..disable emp ing the car should fix it on ny server just saying

wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. :) 1.cars are easy to get. 2. you can get multiple kills with a car (if there grouped up) 3.with 1 car a person can bring dam near there whole team back(at least 4-5) what i would like to see is the ability to blow them up again. jammings fine it roots the jammer in place so its a fair trade off to me. question though.....when i get jammed, they throw emp's at my car but they do nothing? if the jammer runs away(which they do) im free to go. is that because i use the tactical mask perk? but mostly i would like to have the ability to shoot the fackers.

In this mod Hardwired protects you against emp + cuav. It is also the jammer, if its enabled. I dont think it should protect you while in the car. Technically, while in the car you dont have any perks since they have all been taken away except for dead silence so you dont hear footsteps while driving around. When you repsawn they are all given back.

Cars take 3 kills to get, eavesdrop costs nothing, i very rarely see the cars take out more then one person because teams just don't bunch up like that, the best thing about the cars for me was the defrosting, but it's good if they only get one kill maybe people will stop using them, i fucking hate the things.

Eavesdrop/hardwired costs you a tier 3 perk. So its not nothing. Besides, based on this argument then players shouldnt be protected from the heli or sentrygun seeing them either.

i've played it last night again....server was quit full. 22 people online.

 

the speed of the car, can it be raised up? seems little bit slow.

 

everything else seem cool for me. going to visit it more often now.

I like this new server...it's a good change and i really like a couple of the new perks. The sentrynade cannon is awesome. :robo:

 

Cool, people use it. It can be pretty devastating especially on large maps with big open areas. So I figured 8 kills was a fair requirement for it. Probably the perfect weapon for Sharqui. Any opinions on it let me know.
