Depends....I'm an Intel guy because I like to get down and dirty and overclock, and I know Intel. Nowadays, for gaming, the CPU is not as important. The GPU (video card) is much more important. If AMD is less expensive on the CPU side, go for it, and spend the max you can on the best video card that fits your budget. Good luck!
