Stay safe viprz. I hope they find him quickly and bring him out in a body bag.

P.S. I grew up in Mayerthorpe and my brother is recently retired from the RCMP. So our prayers go out to the members and their families, as well as the whole community.

What a crazy bastard. You gotta wonder what would drive someone to do this.

What type of gun was the shooter using?

Stay safe.

I live 1.5 hr from Moncton. I have several friends and my wife has family there. This is sad for everyone. Stay safe.

During 9-11 Moncton hosted hundreds of travelers stranded that day during the no fly zone over all North America. The community opened their hearts and homes to travellers from all around the world that very sad week.

Moncton is a small city with a big heart. Everyone loves Moncton and the people there. We pray for everyone's safety.

Ive been following this closely. Its extremely tragic. Exactly what Pete and WildBill said, reminds me of Mayerthorp. Close to home.. The saddest thing is the loss of those only trying to protect me and every man, woman and child, the second saddest thing is the fact that the media felt the need to publicize the video of the officer being gunned down in cold blood. My opinion, nobody needs to see that. Just sickens me and angers me to no end. All in the name of ratings but they say its because the public has the right to see.. That is HORSESHIT, we do not need to see that..

@@ViPRZ Stay safe bud.

Been praying for the citizens of Moncton to stay safe and a peaceful conclusion to this chain of events. Even though im certain the RCMP will not bring him in alive. He sealed his fate when he gunned down members of Canada's elite police force..

Yup they got him....they definitely showed incredible restraint and professionalism by not putting a bullet in his head. I can finally leave my house again, but it has left a very angry and sad aura on our city. We will recover from this but i will make sure not to etch the name of this asshole into my memories but I will etch the names of the officers who were not given a chance to come home forever in my heart and memory.

I just want to say a Big THANK YOU!!! to all the first responders and military personnel, I for one really do appreciate everything you do!
