Cod 4 Ingame Voip Too Loud! Lower ur MIC! DAMMIT!

i play so long with alot of fun, but ppl scream like girls, and some even are girls, ITS SO F***** LOUD!!!

 

Can all  players set thair voip lvl low  or something, its kinda Stupid!

 

 

 

 

so much screaming makes me dislike cod 4 voip, most of time i turn it off, but then i / we lose comminucation. wich is a really bad thing.

 

i rage so much in voip that ppl need to controll thair mic..  got a pritty expensive headset, cant lower the vollume, if i do, then there is no ingame sound, that sucks,

 

This is ingame Command: seta winvoice_mic_reclevel "31111" wich is like 45% of the vollume, instead of 54231.... Plz ppl controll ur mic!

besides my idea, are there any ways to fix this,  for exemple: Edit mod Winvoice config as default on 30% sinds cod 4 does not have this option,

 

i understand that some ppl have no issue, due speakers or crappy headset, or already bleeding out of thair ears and haveing hearing problems, YES u need to warn ur team mates, but this is going to far for me!  i dont wanna bleed out of my ears, i hope u ppl can have some understanding... im not the only one that have this issue. But not all are loud.

If you have a good headset you should be able to lower just the voices, only other suggestion is mute those players....

u cant lower voice's only mute... there is no option in cod4

what u can do is to lower main windows sounds and get the main game sounds higher

 

i wish we could change the volume of the voip too, but thats the only trick i found

I have bind for enabling disabling voice chat. /toggle cl_voice or alternatively /cl_voice 0 to disable & 1 for enabling. Then again I have a speaker setup I am not too bothered by voice chat itself only if its habitual non-sense (guilty as well).

If certain players annoy you with their volume, just mute them.... issue fixed, you won't be the first  nor the last that does that ingame

Yes, can be annoying when in game trying to listen to game other sounds. On my part, I used to set an equalizer and lower the voices frequencies. This equalizer usually is available with soundcard sound manager.
But it will also affect most of the time the voices ingame announcing perks for exemple.
