I recall a 20/20 story on the subject of "meat glue" in super markets... Yikes!

Waiter : "Sir what can I get you"

Customer : "I'll have the super glued sirloin with epoxy shrimp"

Ewwww . . that's F'd up . . . . . the food producers just don't get it . . .we want FOOD not some kind of manipulated derivative.

I't seems like they spend too much time trying to figure out how to make a egg McMuffin without a real egg

I don't know for a fact but I heard Mc Ds strawberry shake has no strawberries in it and they were once caught making their cherry pies with grapes instead of cherries.

Taco smell Bell got caught making their crispy corn taco shells out of corn meant for animal feed.

I have been suspicious of products that have all white meat chicken in them . . . . . .I bet the big corporations have found a way to bleach dark meat to make it look white then tricked /bribed the Food and Drug Administraition into approving it saying all the nutrients are still there. But the stuff they use to bleach it with will KILL you!!

The saddest thing about it is that you just know there are restaurants out there selling $40-$50 fillets made out of glued stew meat, and there are actually people who order these things that can't tell the difference in flavor between the two.

Personally I've refused to buy a fillet in a resaurant for the last 20 years because they're all shit and way overpriced. This may explain why.

I'm sure an expert could easily spot the difference by tasting it.

Hell, I can tell the difference between a good steak and bad steak.

Also, where can I buy this stuff?

Yea I heard of that stuff before. Or something like it. Unfortunately when there are almost 6 billion people to feed we are going to see more of this kind of thing. If they didnt we would have already been seeing food wars in more than some 3rd world countries. Pure beef steaks will only be in the realm of the rich because only they will be able to afford it.

Best steaks were those from cattle we slaughtered ourselves on the farm. No comparison to anything found in any resturant. Wonder why the nut cases aren't more worried about 7 billion and growing human flatulant factories on this planet. Makes the global warming discussion a moot point when food and water are going to be exhausted long before the climate becomes uncomfortable. Guess that ain't politically chic.

Honestly, if I were to sell hotdogs at a baseball park, how many would I sell if I was yelling, " Get your hot lips and assholes here! " Probably only a few to the stoners in the nose bleed section.
