Turned veggie recently (1 1/2 weeks) and not missing it at all. On a visit to McDonalds, I would have usually had a big mac, a 1/4lb with cheese, a McChicken Sandwich and a double cheeseburger. It's a wonder I never went over 13 stone! Most Big Macs in one sitting was 7...back on the Big Macs birthday many years back when it was buy one get one free.

I prefer the 1/4lbers. but I stay at 11 stone without trying the last 27 yrs, and now I do tennis 5 days a week, and squash the other 2 days, I'm still 11 stone :P my body is obviously very happy at that weight, or extremely bloody stubborn :P

Not sure the Whopper scores any better on the scale of what's good for you.  All the burger chains (fast food, et al) have figured out the formula to make you crave more.

Mmmmm, nothing like a Jake's Poorhouse Special. Full pound of beef, combinations of cheese, tomatoes, lettuces, and whatever you can dream up to fill your burger buns. Tray full of tries, and a yard long list of tap drafts. Drool on England, you can have your whitefish & chips.

MMMMMMmmmm Burgers

How bout a full 1/4 pound burger 2 slices of cheese grilled onions and piled high with pastrami, along side of that a pile of fries and crispy onion rings?

Oh yeah don't forget the Diet Coke after all . . . . . . . . .  your watching your weight . . :rtfm:

I don't mind an occasional burger (not like the one I described above) but just like everything else . . . . . . in moderation. (except after taking a couple rips  )

and as for the Diet Coke . . . .yuk!!!      How can anyone drink that stuff?

There was a you tube video called "Supersize me" (correction needed) about a guy that ate at McDonald's everyday and how it made him feel . . . lousy.
