Cops have a damned tough job, no doubt whatsoever. But clearly, this guy did not have the temperament to be a police officer. Made me sick to see him just dump the kid on his face after dragging him to the site of the road. Doesn't matter if they are usually good or bad at making decisions but most are rebellious. I know I was. This officer was completely wrong. There was no reason to use the taser especially for 23 seconds straight. I'm pretty sure you are only supposed to use it for 3 to 5 seconds then release the trigger and repeat 3 to 5 seconds again if needed. Not because he did anything wrong but because the cop was aggressive in his actions. No excuse for it. He tased him in the heart for Christ's sake then told the kid he'd been tased a dozen times and it didn't effect him that much. The cop should have gotten 10 yrs at least. I'm not a liberal by any stretch, but I do expect cops to behave in a professional manner. Not like a thug. Each are different and each have their reputation. I live in a city that does not hand out speeding tickets but if they pull you over for speeding they are looking for a felony conviction like drugs or warrants to arrest you.
