There was more and more trolls entering the server in groups deciding to teamkill everyone ruining peoples day. With the friendly fire switched off there will be less trolls/troublemakers on the servers Gameplay will be the same as before only difference is the friendly fire will be switched off. It looks like it is going to stay off. The server seems to be doing better with it turned off as well. No trolls means more players aren't leaving due to team killers.
