Computer Meltdown?

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

You may have seen me frozen in place MAAAAANY many times in COD4 lately, and lagging and for that i apologize. However, i dled Diablo 2 LOD, and pga 21, and i still get these little crashes!

I have a brand new power supply, so would it be my processer dying or motherboard?

I thought until now it was the internet here, but i now think i am wrong.

Anyone have any ideas?

if your motherboard website doesn't offer temp monitoring software you could use something like hwmonitor or maybe cpuz to monitor the comp temps. Also try and watch your resource usage...if your cpu hits 100% things will come to a halt. Built in windows resource manager is good for monitoring ram, cpu and hard drive usage while in game

Bazza

question what motherboard   name and model also the Rev of MB

keep the what you need to run OS  rest of Accessories dis connect then add 1 and see if crashes, if not then add next till you find what hardware is cosing crash.

i believe you have a failing harware since new PSU

something is drawing to much current an reboots

check back of MB for anything touching it

software........  task manager whats  running

do a deep scan of virus search

Dumb - but look for lose connections

Smart - for the Network cable those dam locks always break off and plug isn't fully incerted in computer also check contacts on cable ends for had  pets chew the end and distort connection pins, used a safety pin to reform them

TBB  also  software..... a frequent click bait sucker for titty's
