I've played COD4 for years on my 27in iMac. I know there aren't many Mac users in the COD world. Here's my issue - on the Xtreme Idiots server there's a group chat function that I can't get in on. I've tried three different mics: the computer's internal, a headphone jack mic/headset and a USB mic. All of these mics work when testing them in my Systems Prefs - all of them have worked on other servers that used Team Speak - all of them work when I test them within Steam. None of them work within COD4. Yes, I have my group chat ON, yes my record level is turned up, yes I have a key mapped to to engage chat. When I press my Z to talk I see an icon that tells me I'm engaging the chat function but no other players see me doing so.
