I told my wife im not confident in korean bullshit companies that built cars, microwaves ,cell phones , TV's ,and others electronics , they cant be good good in all electronics stuff... and now we have to fight with the after market service to get a minimum of pay back here in Canada they have the worst customer service ... dont buy this ........ The compressor in them is literally 1/3rd the size of a fridge from 15-20 years ago. Ours is a newer LG Inverter Fridge and it can not keep up on Humid days especially with it pushed the whole way back against the wall. LG make on of the most reliable washing machines available in the UK, built in Poland. I have an OLED TV, Washer Dryer tower they seem to work well. In the US at least, I don't know of other brands that fair well in terms of features and finish. I would absolutely purchase extended warranty. I got my appliances through Costco so at least I get an extra year of warranty. The whole 1 year warranty is Apple inspired bullshit. We bought an LG Refrigerator about 5 years ago. We still have it. But, it has had 2 motherboards replaced and I personality repaired a water leak in it. On top of that, we have to disable the "energy saving" mode to keep the ice from melting together. The refrigerator even has a transmitter to communicate with customer service to help diagnose errors. They must have anticipated allot of problems. Yay for technology!!
