This has the 3.1 liter. I have rebuilt the entire front suspension. Its got new control arms and ball joints  outter tie rods inners have no play. the sway bar was broke so i had to replace that. replaced inner tie rod boots. replaced the passenger rear trailing arm it was broke in half. been driving it about 600 miles now no problems. no dash lights at all. I did have to toggle switch the cooling fans. i think the ground wire is bad somewhere....but its getting put to the test next month. Imma drive it to Michigan and back. Cuz you know its legal there. I hate indiana...

I liked them old Pontiacs and it's hard to consider them old. Good job getting it going. Pictures are always fun just make sure the car has cloths on. ;)

Oh yea I have a friend Julie in Fort Wayne Indiana. It's a no fun state and they love putting folks in prison. I'm sure not that bad but they gave my friends son 80 for defending himself from 3 guys trying to rob him at gun point. He was selling weed so since it was while crime (weed) was being committed they charged him. Since he didn't take the plea deal, they gave this kid freaking 80 year. He was shot three times.. only one other guy was shot and killed the one with the gun. Kid just had a son.. he is 22 years old. 80 damn years. Never will I step foot in that state.

PERMATEX Red High Temp RTV Adhesive Sealant is your friend for the intake sealing,  use studs on the heads  not the bolts and check timing chain slack NOTE for Distribator engine) by rolling crankshaft back and forth  and watch  distributor to see the free play. distriburless  open oil fill cap and look at camshaft.
