I inherited a Geha Mauser K98K from WW1 that was converted into a 12 ga. bolt action shotgun. As I understand it most of Germanies weapons had to be destroyed but a small percentage could be converted into shotguns for sport hunting in the allied countries.

Well you'll all know what I'll say don't you ? names that originally were given with no offence intended at all are now becoming offensive to the snowflakes. We've had loads of pubs in the uk changing names that have hung outside for hundreds of years, to the anger of the citizens. The Ruhr valley was jammed end to end with new equipment when American troops captured it. Tigers, Panthers, Pak40s, 88s, Stugs, you name it. The factories choked on their own production, because the marshaling yards & rail lines had been bombed. Couldn't get the material out. Wreaking the transportation network & refineries was one of the most effective uses of the 8th Air Force.

What will be more interesting will be to see how a country functions when it's workers, emergency services, hospital services and police etc etc are high as kites. There are enough problems now with alcohol and prohibited drugs, legalising weed is overdue, but what are the control measures? Inevitably someone will challenge why (say) a shop assistant can use it but a Judge can't, hey we're all equal now? There isn't a person on earth who thinks they are affected when drunk or high, but there are millions of sober ones who suffer from their selfishness, and yes it is selfishness. Get pissed or stoned and drive your car into them killing them and it is rarely considered murder/manslaughter - yet it is ! So I applaud it's use for recreation, but dread the results of a free for all, it will cut out the criminal element but at the same time increase usage. Now for those of you thinking hey I smoke dope, but I don't expect others to, you might be in for a surprise when the scalpel slips, the policeman accidentally shoots you, the plumber falls asleep in your toilet, the firemen sleep in, no food is produced as the combine is weaving etc etc etc Nice sentiment, it is unenforceable currently under most laws, but when it is legal what are the stops ? Will jobs that ban it be attractive? What about it's health hazards (Denmark is on the cusp of totally banning smoking), needs a lot of thought before being legalised, what are the results in States that have legalised it good or bad, I'm interested.

This is about membership, right from the front page of our website: >XI< Clan Membership is by Admin invite only. If you are a regular player on our servers and are interested in joining >XI< then you will eventually get approached by a server admin. Simple as that really... if you play with us, are fun and fit in you will receive an invite. The posts are a requirement, among other items.
