  1. This is my harvest! I don’t have anywhere near the size of your garden, I still manage to grow around 180 plants. More of a fun hobby. Elephant, California and the largest portion was originally smuggled in from Italy!

  3. Very nice! Here in eastern Canada I'm in zone 5b only because I'm near the coast the farther inland the zones change to 5A and 5. I plant the first week of June and the garden is finished September October. I start my onions in March, tomatoes and peppers in April, squash, cucumbers, cantaloupe and watermelon in May. This year I started some of my corn in May. I will have 3 staggered harvest dates. First time experiment.

  4. Yes I have a big deer problem! I use 2 different electric fences. In the garden picture you can see the white electrified tape. this has 2 sets of fencing about 3 feet apart. the outer fence has 1 ribbon about 3 feet high the inner fence has 2 ribbons at 18 inches and 4 feet. the deer can jump it but the 3 dimensional look of it confuses them so they approach the fence with caution and put their nose on he outer fence and take a hit some folks put aluminum foil on the outer fence and smear it peanut butter or apple flavor to attract the deer then get shocked. my other garden has a 6 foot high single fence. The deer can jump this too but I stagger the steel, ribbon and nylon twine with the ribbon at about 3 feet high. Again this white electrified ribbon is a visual queue to the deer making them approach it and touch it with their nose. So far I have been very lucky and all the deer have stayed away from the gardens for 3 years. The E fence controllers put out 3-10,000 volts! One is both battery or 120 volts the other is just 120 volts

    Hi all!

As the title says... hey all! The CoD4 freezetag servers were such a big part of my younger years, I thought I would drop back in to say hi! It's been like... 5 or so years since I've stopped by, but I'm hoping to be able to shoot a few of ya in the near future. Are the CoD4 servers still fairly active?

  8. There once was a monastery that was very strict. Following a vow of silence, no one was allowed to speak at all. But there was one exception to this rule. Every ten years, the monks were permitted to speak just two words. After spending his first ten years at the monastery, one monk went to the head monk. "It has been ten years," said the head monk. "What are the two words you would like to speak?" "Bed... hard..." said the monk. "I see," replied the head monk, we'll give you a new mattress Ten years later, the monk returned to the head monk's office. "It has been ten more years," said the head monk. "What are the two words you would like to speak?" "Food... cold..." said the monk. "I see," replied the head monk, I'll make sure you get it warm Yet another ten years passed and the monk once again met with the head monk who asked, "What are your two words now, after these ten years?" "I... quit!" said the monk. "Well, I can see why," replied the head monk. "All you ever do is complain."

  10. About to dig up Potatoes and plant the Late Sweet Corn. I "rented" (He's getting a bunch of potatoes I planted plenty) a 10'x20' spot in the neighbors garden because he wasn't gong to plant anything in that part this year. He has room for quite a few fall/winter Cauliflower. It's in his upper 10'x40' garden. He has 4 4x8 raised beds down near his house. He pickles the Cauliflower with the peppers he grows. I like Cauliflower broiled with home made cheese sauce. OMG he tried to get me to eat one of his "Sweet Banana Peppers" a couple days ago. He and my other neighbor took 1 bite and ran straight to the house to grab the Milk. He said Holy FUCK that's Definitely not Sweet Banana Peppers. I smelled one and it about burnt my nose hairs out. Ya fuck that hot shit lol. Never seen that goofy big guy run so fast before lol.

  11. After last years 90% garden loss due to flooding, deer and Colorado potato Beatles 2022 is showing great potential. My Garlic harvest has been a great success. If you are wondering what the heck I’m doing growing so much food? I just enjoy gardening! I love sharing with family, friends, neighbours and anyone who visits. I particularly love sharing with people needing a little help. Some days I make up little packages and deliver them to my senior relatives. It’s always nice to help out the local soup kitchens. Nothing goes to waist. I love canning string beans, tomatoes and things. My onions and potatoes last 4-6 months, the garlic lasted from August last year until June this year….we ran out I gave too much away lol. Enjoy the pictures, share your photos of anything you’ve grown. Big or small we’ll love them all.

Derby, thanks for your patience. I was the admin that banned you because there is a ban in place already for another player with your IP address.

  13. @SGTSmeg you asked a question about growing garlic. I grow the Hard neck variety called Music. Hard neck have fewer but larger cloves per bulb. They(Hard neck) have a woody stock in the centre. They are more hardy in colder, northern areas and tend to last longer. Depending on location and severity of winter HN are planted in the fall 2-3 weeks before the ground freeze’s. This allows the garlic clove to set roots. HN garlic must go through a cold dormant spell before sprouting in the very early spring. HN garlic can withstand diverse soil types but really loves a soil with a lot of organic matter. Most garlic plantings benefit from a thick layer of mulch when planted. The mulch alleviates multiple freeze thaw cycles which will damage the new developing roots. I live 2 miles from the coast and experience several drastic freeze thaw cycles most winters. Therefore I use a very thick mulch, I even have to hold the mulch down with weighted wire fence material or it will blow away. HN garlic produce a flower step called a scape. The scapes should be removed allowing the garlic to concentrate on bulb development rather than flowering. The flower turns to a thing called bulbils. Bulbils can be planted but it would take 2-3 years to propagate bulbs of an size. Garlic must be dried out of the sun with good air circulation for 2-3 weeks. This allows the nutrition from the leaves to be drawn into the cloves. Once dried the roots and stocks should be cut off the dirt can be rubbed off not washed as water will promote rot. One of the thin skins should be removed allowing for a very clean pristine garlic bulb. Here are a couple of pictures from last year’s crop after being cleaned up. If anyone has a few questions I’ll try and answer.

    Interest Rates

Why the heck is it normal for you guys in the US, to have a loan on a car? Let alone to have a 'credit'-card. This is what, I never understood.

  22. We know - you never keep quiet Unlimited Bullshit Disorder A mental disorder where a person cannot help but make up absurd comments and/or lies. Even if repeatedly asked to stop or even threatened, the person will continue to create bullshit comment/remarks about someone. Guy 1: Thom just told me that you were in a gay porno. Guy 2: Thats Bullshit! he's lying. One day later.... Guy 1:Thom said you have a crush on our male foreign language teacher. Guy 2: WTF that's a lie. Man, the amount of bullshit Thom can make up is unbelievable he must have Unlimited Bullshit Disorder.

All caught on barbless hooks and all go back as unharmed as possible, the net is knotless, I land them on a cushioned unhooking mat and return them asap after letting them recover in the water, nature is precious.

  38. I'm sorry, I'm so fucking sorry (sob), so so sorry to all my readers in the forums, I never ever realised that joking in the forums and fooling around brought so much pain, I'm truly sorry. I'm just a sad sad clown, fooling around laughing telling jokes fornicating not realising all that time that I was hated - please fucking forgive me (and the other assholes I fool around with, yes you TBB). Last night the Messiah showed me the true path to happiness, from this date at the end of every week I'll issue a chart showing my progress so far, I would have done it in powerpoint, but apparently you're not bright enough to understand things like that. I'm so dumb I thought the market was where you bought vegetables, what do I know? I thought stocks were where they pelted you with rocks and shares part of a plough? stupid, stupid, stupid I have produced a graph showing my braincell count before and after drinking, don't feel sorry for me, both of them count. (You should see Budmans), I nearly inserted a smiley face - forgive me. This is (yet another) new Rob, sober, serious, and downright dull, the joke forum is a thing of the past, my new path takes me to a greater place, where I will Excel (apparently you're not bright enough to get that) (omit another childish smiley) Sad Rob LIKE FUCK
