Usually betwen maps, but sometimes during the round - game just drops right out and no explanation other than "unhandled exception". Can get right back in, but starting over. PB is up to date and stopping all un-needed processes. I've spoken with a few players in game and they also get crashes, but not sure why. Sometimes fine for a few maps, then crashes a few in a row. I recall something about having too many maps in the game folder, but don't recall if that was solution. Anyone else?? Ideas? Note - I had this game installed on this PC before and no issues. I'm not sure why or why not. I've read in some places that it has to do with too many custom maps downloaded but I'm really doubting that just cause I've got a crap load and haven't had a crash in awhile. I believe it is missing files in folders. Please make a post on this thread what maps your computer kicks you to desk top, or you have to reboot. I'm seeing if this jives with what I am looking at. Was told it was a sound issue, fixed it no prob for a couple of weeks now its doing it again. Can't remember what the fix was will dig a bit and see if iI can find it. I also get an error telling me I have no more room on my hard drive which is totally false. I have 2TB altogether so..... I have all the maps for modernweapons server. Restarted the server again same download s-peed. (don't know why I'd have to download any maps cause as I said I got the lot from XI) In retrospect could of been 1 of the two maps Beers added to the rotation after taking a couple out. Me, Dirk, and Markoff are working on a list of 104 maps we didn't have before for all 3 servers and some of them might be causing the problem. Till someone starts giving us map names we will have a hard time finding the problem if this is the case. PM me with server name and map name and I will start a list to try and find out if it is one of the maps causing this. In the mean time delete all maps from your map folder and use Phantoms excellent map down loader. It works real good.
