JohnnyDos Posted March 23, 2011 Member ID: 77 Group: Fallen Members Followers: 111 Topic Count: 1018 Topics Per Day: 0.19 Content Count: 7527 Content Per Day: 1.41 Reputation: 9175 Achievement Points: 69486 Solved Content: 0 Days Won: 47 Joined: 09/02/09 Status: Offline Last Seen: January 8, 2020 Share Posted March 23, 2011 Well this is day 2 since I bought it.I like it.looks just fantastic.I only had one game in Multi Player and I got slaughtered.In single player I'm finding the battles very intense.The opening scene starts in a submarine and you have to escape as it is being attacked.Once you are out a guy in a Nano suit thinks he is infectedby the aliens he says a little speech then they show him commit suicide by putting a pistol to his head.But not that gruesome with guts but I've never seen that in a game.I will have to rank up and there is a patch already.Also with my game purchase came a limited edition code that ranks you up a bit to get more equipment or weapons.If I don't get to buzzed up I might try to play online tonight or try to complete more of my single player.But so far I like it.But who am I. Keep getting "The connection to your session has been lost" every time I try to join a match. Wicked annoying. And apparently a problem for a large number of people based on what I found on multiple other forums. The single player is pretty good so far but the game in my opinion is NOT Crysis, doesn't play at all like what you're used to from Crysis and Crysis Wars/Warhead. Among other changes, you can no longer go prone, only crouch which was annoying in the MP demo. It's very CoD now (not that that's a bad thing, just not a Crysis thing), leveling up in order to get better weapons, suit mods, etc. I don't think its bad, just not at all the amazing game play of Crysis/Wars that we've come to appreciate. Kind of sad really that Crytek seems to have bowed to the man on this one instead of sticking to their roots and what set them so far apart from the competition. I found my problem to be the fire wall I was running. Once I turned that off I was able to get in game. Found a lot of servers but very few players. And only servers that were full so you could not join. I keep finding myself going to the HardCore server. I guess I'm hooked................ Runs really great in fullscreen 1650 x 1050 at 120 hz mode, gra^hics set to the maximum (the 580 GTX is really showing it's power here) Will be looking forward to an eventual XI dedicated server with pleasure, if ever.... Pretty intense. Loved Sliding and Shooting. I didn't have any lag or connection issues when I was playing like you have with black ops.
