At this point changing a E-mail address would be inconvenient for business, besides I do not want to learn a new system. When I sign on to the Internet that is where I go first to check E-mail. At one time [FS] FreeSoldiers, a FPS site was my Homepage but a few years ago, while an Admin, I quit that clan. On day when the stock market is open I am a frequent visitor to Morningstar and Yahoo Finance. BTW......... any of you under 50 best pay VERY close attention to investments and saving. From there I get my weather fix (we limeys are obsessed with what the sky will do in the next five days and we aren't even all farmers!) and my link to the sports. Facebook opens on another browser tab. This is important so I can keep my friends bored from day to day with things I think are interesting but in which they have absolutely no interest whatsoever. I figure that if they are real friends they know me well enough and have learnt to put up with my irritating habits... If my number of Facebook friends dwindles then I shall end up posting to myself which is nothing new as I talk to myself all the time and rarely have a disagreement. Gold has been very good to me the last 3 years, got out a few weeks ago and with my wifes passing I am focusing more on Yield and Dividend instruments and taking the money rather than reinvesting. Wifey earned twice what I earned so my income has been dramatically altered. I am not good at accounting so for awhile I will just have to watch my cash accounts and how they hold up with my daily expenses. If my cash continues to grow I will adjust by reinvesting most monies and participating in some more aggressive funds. I do not invest in stocks, too dumb for that and learned it's not for me way back when. Now I invest in Mutual Funds and ETF's and let others smarter than me manage the money. As to which funds and ETF's I rely a lot on historical data and information that Morningstar can provide. Interested in some of my holdings? Here they are: FVD, HARL, HYG, IHI, MPA, PASAX, PFF, SLV, VFIIX, VHDYX, VWEXH. VFIIX is a Ginny Mae account with Vanguard where my retirement, SS along with some dividends and yields from other investments are held. I can write checks for this account.
