But now you pushed down the max ping to only 250, and I no longer can get in the server. I am from South Africa and the best ping i get is between 280 and 400. Enforcer you have been a good player on the server for a long time you have 437 hours on the server . Give me a couple hours to get this sorted out and I will let you know. High pings have been problems and i have had many ask me about this very problem, saying it is almost not fair to those trying to kill the pep skipping accross the map. So where do we draw the line because you can guarantee if we make maximum ping 250 someone else will say that is too high as well and so on. I reset both servers with the ping of 300, But if someone is skipping/warping due to your ping and we get complaints you can get kicked (not banned just kicked) We are trying to keep this fun to all----- So remember if your frozen just chill. Stang I have been in game with you when you are been saying that you can not kill someone, but no one else is saying it, so I kinda think its on your side. For the people that skip around you will be only kicked and hopefully when you reconnect your connection will be better. If your a little glitchy its ok, but the warping from one place to another is what is causing all the trouble. I have only seen this a very few times so this will not be a big thing. If you are whinning about everyone little person who might glitch for a sec or has a high ping for a couple secs then you might be the one getting the ban because of all the whinning you are doing. Its a game people just play and have fun, its not about the winning people this is not a competitive clan, we are idiots, we play to have fun. If you are gonna ruin the fun for the people that just want to play and not worry about the score(those are the people we like here at >XI<) then you will be removed and we will keep the high pinger. I just want to add to SOB's statement, and say that it is not easy playing wit 300 ping and if you have noticed that i get killed much more then i do killing people . But what what makes Freeze tag so nice to play is I can go to Defrost mode and have 3 times as much defrosts as kills or deaths. THX Ruggerr and Graywolf for ajusting the max ping so that I can play. While you use these additional resources to down this player you are also exposing yourself for a longer period of time to potential threats than you would against normal players. As a result, the warping player with the high ping doesn't get you, rather one of his/ her teammates does. There are many times that I don't engage said player until I'm certain it is safe. When I do choose to engage such a player, I fire ahead of the player working my way back toward their path... I've been very successful using this tactic. This we have seen on the freeze tag server from time to time. I also like Enforcer - he is a straight up guy - anyway i would have gone even to the extend of setting the ping limit to 200. This is NOT a demand but a suggestion - knowing im not a XI player - i would like to be but i have a problem with my mic/Xfire/ + i play in the same room as we all use and just maybe my girlfriend would disapprove i still have to be able to go to bed without getting my head banged with a pan. I reallly havent noticed any problem killing em as such (cuz I stink anyways...ask SOB, he'll tell ya) and i am glad to see XI extend a friendly hand to a guy like enforcer. Played with quite a few times in the morning and it would be a shame to see someone like that not be able to enjoy the server. At least some of the guys with the high pings we recognize as good folk so if they skip about a bit I know for me its more than tolerable gamewise just cuz I know that they are cool and dont cheat, so I just try a little harder.
