It's and anti virus and spyware and adware in one. it has a small footprint so it doesnt hurt system speed. It has a simple interface and has scheduled scanning. I have used avg and had used avast for years i ran it with ccleaner and malewarebytes. with MSE when i run ccleaner or malewarebytes they normally find no problems. its sweet.

Virus Bulletin puts all the major programs to the test on a monthly basis (at least most companies - some don't like others testing and judging their wares!): http://www.virusbtn.com/vb100/archive/results?display=summary NB: Free registration is required to view the results and one can opt to take their AV/malware newsletter. Having tried a few products over the years, I rate AVG and have bought a three-machine licence for the paid version. I found Bullguard - a product that is punted with many vendors' new machines in the UK - resource-hungry and somewhat problematic, personally. McAfee? Well, I vowed never to have any of their software on a machine of mine again! Total reinstallation tends to put one off using their products!!! Awards
