I have several friends and my wife has family there. This is sad for everyone. Stay safe. During 9-11 Moncton hosted hundreds of travelers stranded that day during the no fly zone over all North America. The community opened their hearts and homes to travellers from all around the world that very sad week. Moncton is a small city with a big heart. Everyone loves Moncton and the people there. The saddest thing is the loss of those only trying to protect me and every man, woman and child, the second saddest thing is the fact that the media felt the need to publicize the video of the officer being gunned down in cold blood. My opinion, nobody needs to see that. Just sickens me and angers me to no end. All in the name of ratings but they say its because the public has the right to see.. I can finally leave my house again, but it has left a very angry and sad aura on our city. We will recover from this but i will make sure not to etch the name of this asshole into my memories but I will etch the names of the officers who were not given a chance to come home forever in my heart and memory.
