From earlier this past summer. Not great quality, but it was fun to take. I like to take raw+jpeg. Then I'll throw out the raws later if the pic is not great. (save on space, jpegs are tiny to keep around but my raws are 25mb) Also, I'll do mild color balancing pretty much all the pics I share to anyone. My goal is to make it look best without it looking like an instagram filter lol. oh, and it's too bad that jet wasn't leaving massive condensation trails, that would've been cool. The Warf, San Francisco I can't quite tell what pier you are on but I recognize the ferry terminal on the far left and of course the Embarcadero centers with their holiday lights on. There actually are very small tripods that can fold up and fit in a pocket and they work great for smaller cameras. I have a couple of them around here somewhere. Makes a huge difference when you're taking a longer exposure like you did above. If you and your girlfriend ever find yourselves down near the financial district, go over to Sansome Street and California St. to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, walk through the lobby and take the elevator to the top floor. It's a twin tower hotel with a glass walkway betweent the towers. As I recall the top floor is about 54 stories and the view is unlike anything you'll find in San Francisco. Panoramic views from the Golden Gate bridge to the Oakland Bay bridge, and in back of you all points south. It's one of two five star hotels in SF and there is a restaurant and lounge if you're in the mood. There is no security to get on the elevator although I'm sure people will be watching you on CCTV.
