I told him that we would do so if they allowed us to keep the joints after the search was over . . .. . . the "stink-eye" that officer gave me stunk the place up. I told him J/K and we went ahead and pocketed the joints and waited for the dog. The dog made 2 passes and didn't find the joints . . . . . . .no milk bones for him that night. and yes we gave the joints back. Your right . . . good call . . . in fact at the time I thought it was a unusual request and wondered wtf . . . . . . I didn't consider that they could have easily let us pocket the joints and wait 5 mins and then arrest us until i was halfway home and it kinda freaked me out . . in retrospect I think next time if the situation happens again or similar I will decline for just that reason. My willingness to help law enforcement in the name of being a good citizen has been clouded over the years.
