Try download it, than update punkbuster and try again. If not helps, make sure your computer did not any change in your sound card. Might changed settings in windows by installing a new soundcard, or new headset on usb etc, but u will only know that when you hit the first step. Need more help, Just ask. To check your version, follow these steps: Click on the Start button, then go to Run. In the Open box, type ‘dxdiag’ and click OK. This will bring up the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, If you look toward the bottom of the first screen, it will say what DirectX version you have. DX diag showed version 11...I tried updating sound card...no luck. Yes he can but I couldn't really root cause, wasn't that interested in it. I figured a way around it. I don't know if its DLL related, I think its more so due to the User Access Program in Windows that limits non-admin access. Then for whatever reason it corrupts your game config files and when you do it as administrator the access issue is resolved for that profile.
