I've stopped playing mostly because it has become repetitive and boring. Some time out means i'll most likely enjoy it again for a short space of time when I return. But will it still be good times? I'm looking to hear from the guys still frequenting the server and TS channel. Is there any plans for more maps? Have more maps been released that I'm missing? There are still a couple of dlc/upgrades comming. We gonna have 3 night time maps (Zavod, Golmud and Siege of Shanghai), then the new community map (Jungle based BIGASS map) and the remake of Dragon Valley, a map that was highly populair in BF2. So 5 semi new maps still to come. The first will be released in September. With Battlefront comming next November i think we will lose some players, but as with BF Hardline, i think they will eventually return (it might take slightly longer though). Then the comming year we ar probably going to have BF5 already, so.... Enough still to come! And what is more fun then to play with the most awesome players in Server/TS? What people are forgetting is the fact that BF4 is almost 2 years old now. But still it gets regular updates, new weapons and even new maps outside of the promised DLC's when announced. After the last official DLC, final stand, they could've said 'that's it' and just wait for BF5 to come out. Instead they kept on improving the game and still are busy with it. I for one think that is great. Yes, they fucked up the intro of BF4, but they made up for it more then needed in my eyes. I understand though why some may start to get bored with the game. Because of the many launch problems with bf4 everything else got delayed, BF Hardline was delayed and therefore BF5 is delayed as well. But still i enjoy the game, just start with getting 500 kills with every weapon. Sure there were a lot of problems, but they are now all fixed (the important ones anyway). Yes it took way to long and the the game should have been released like it is now and not the POS it was. You's just have given the game that much negativity that you's wont admit the game as improved...........just dont bother to play the game then simple as. No point saying that the game hasn't improved when it clearly has. It should of been a finished game on release and yes they took over 100 quid from each gamer but at the end of the game there is over 20,000+ gamers daily that still play the game and you dont hear them complaining or giving the game hell. Dice knows what the Battlefield community have been going through since release and in return are giving us a new DLC with maps that the community has chosen as a thank you for staying with us that long. You rarely see other game developers doing that with their game community's. After the up and coming DLC Battlefield 4 will be a finished game with no more updates so it will be the end of it. People and reviewers of the game will all have a look back at the game since release and will say it was a very good game overall that has had its ups and downs but overall it delivered in the end. I certainly didn't expect this to be a rant thread. Just checking in to see if its still going ok and if any updates planned and if so when... Look forward to the dlc. For example look at people who play football all their life .... it's always the same map But so be semi serious, more maps would be nice - but playing what we have is sometimes fun and sometimes it's not.
