A few maps new to this rotation. A couple have been around others have not. All will be 'best of 5' maps.

 

mp_aliens: A new map of the colony on lv-246. It is dark and rainy and very nicely done. A big download.

mp_farmland_beta: Big and open on hills, as the title suggests.

mos_espa: everyone knows this star wars map.

mp_woodrr: Average sized map but lots of trees and foliage on a hilly terrain.

 

Note: since aliens is almost brand new it has not undergone extensive testing. Any issues post them.

mp_aliens: crashed server during 2nd round "script runtime error, exceeded maximum number of script variables"

 

mp_invade map: end of map, timer ran down to zero, then everyones ping said -1 and the server did not map change until roxy reset it

Hmmm. Script variables. Havent seen that one in a long time. I will take it out. It will need server restart. I was sure it was playing farmland earlier, which is the map after invade. At least I think the NFO control panel said so when I was checking things out earlier. Quite sure it didnt rotate after it?

Yep, it didn't rotate. The countdown hit 0, but everyone stayed on the same map. When roxy fixed it, we went back to map 1 in the rotation. Boomboom switched maps to farmland_beta after aliens crash occured so we could go back into the rotation. May have just been a weird one off for invade that happened. I believe that has happened before in the past, but don't remember the map.

That is unusual. Did invade end strangely in terms of rounds won etc? End 4-4 or something like that? Checking out the aliens map. There is one spawn side that I just cannot figure out how to get out of.

I believe the current round was 1-1. It's been a few days, sorry, I don't remember everything. I think it was either about to enter overtime, or about to end the current round from overtime. I remember the countdown noise playing.

 

There are also quite a few places to get stuck on it seems on the edges. There is also some weird turret thing that kills you and puts you back in spawn?

If you mean the aliens map, that is probably the sentrygun. Something cut from the regular release of the movie but in the directors but. And is where cod got the sentrygun idea from in the first place.  :lol:

Glad to hear it. Lots of new maps to try. A lot of them just arent good for ftag but others are. So a handful here and a handful there to check out, for the main server anyways. Server #2 will be all new maps and I invite everyone to play them. Best 2 out of 3 so if its only a few players it should only take 15 minutes or so, at worst, to get through a map.

edit: uploaded. After bungle the next map should be blue italy. Let me know if it works.
