Howdy,

Can somebody remind me what folders to back up?

So when I format my HD I can get back into the swing of things.

It's there also you can backup your profile by using the XI downloader. It's under the tab that says file use it and save it somewhere on a another drive if you need it later.

I don't think it's under program files, look under AppData/Activision. It depends how you have your user account control set up weather it will be under virtual store or not.

It depends on a few things, most significantly is where/how did you install it.

A. CD/DVD or old school download

B. Mac App Store

C. Steam

For my Steam install it's here, slightly adjusted:

MPThreeOne:~ ESOL$ /Users/esol/Library/Application\ Support/Call\ of\ Duty\ 4
