We got the MRI results back this morning and the doctors are baffled. Her tumor has not grown at all!!! This is usually a very fast growing and rare type of tumor and yet there has been zero growth. It has been over 2 months now and they said that they are absolutely "baffled". They said that they have never seen this happen before with any DIPG patient ever. They want to know everything that she has been doing, they want to know what her diet is and what she has been exposed to. They told us that everything that we have been doing, to keep doing it. They are conducting a "Stage One Research Study" (I have no idea what that means, I don't know crap about medical stuff) and people are coming to Portland from Philadelphia, PA and the "New England Journal of Medicine", they want every bit of information they can get. To everyone that has been praying for her, thank you and ask if you could continue to do so. Our prayers have shifted slightly to thankfulness. We are not out of the woods and we know that, but we are thankful and hopeful and tears of happiness are much better than the other kind lol Thanks all for everything!
