Thinking of getting a different monitor to replace my LG 27GP850-B. The colors are awesome but I do struggle seeing players right in front of me or on screens hat I should see due to its rendering of of sharpness or something. I had a 27 HP omen before and could see everything and everyone much more clearly but it had a really bad glare on it that ruined the experience.

Thinking of getting a different HP Omen, either the 27qs for $329 or 32q for $299. So either upgrade in size or refresh rate. Which is probably better?

I have Ryzen 7 7700 with an amd rx 7700xt and 32gb of ddr5 6000mhz ram.

I had a curved one but my cat stated pawing at it and broke the screen. Curved panels are more fragile so I needed a flat one.

What is Windows Eye Control?
People with challenges will now be able to access their Windows PC with the help of an Eye Tracker. Microsoft has recently announced the ‘Eye Control’ feature at the company’s hackathon. The feature is specifically designed for people with challenges to help them operate their Windows 11/10 PC with an on-screen keyboard and mouse.

Bud that should help you to play again and $300 poorer

I need to get a display port cable for mine. can't run more than 60hz through HDMI without it flipping out. I recently got a 0.8ms refresh rate 27" 240hz monitor after my POS 27" Samsung took a crap out of the blue. I probably could have fixed it because I'm pretty good at fixing electronics but but it had absolutely horrible refresh rate. Tested it online and it was rite at 16ms which is worse than my old assed 55" Samsung Plasma TV. My old assed TV tested rite at 12ms which is pretty respectable for an old TV.

Gota be careful when buying cables, especially display port and USB-C cables. Do not buy a cheap one and make sure that you get one that is DisplayPort 1.4 VESA certified and has a crap pile of good reviews. The cheap cables are often rebranded Displayport 1.1 cables that have very little shielding and very very thin wires. You won't get more than 60hz out of a cheap cable.

Came with the monitor...   A DisplayPort cable can lose quality after about 6 feet (1.8 meters). Longer cables are more likely to have lower image and sound quality, or even lose data completely.
