Hi everyone it's Oster a few members of XI have been wondering which appliance I am from the company, starting to think I am a microwave as I cook enemies from the inside out. In all seriousness though Oster is actually part of my name which is where I got the in game name from. I like all types of games but lately have been really enjoying COD 4 Freeze Tag and finally decided to get on the forums. At some point I would like to become a member here as the people I have met from XI are all friendly and fun to play with. Computers are my passion overall and I like to help people with both software and hardware problems so if anyone has problems I would be happy to try to assist you the best of my ability. I am pretty terrible at introductions so sorry for that but, thank you all for the friendly environment.

Been building my own PC's for 15 years - never had a virus - did get a rash once - doctor called it a @BUDMAN infection that a strong dose of antibiotics would cure - but i was too embarrassed to go out in public with it!! As long as your not doing anything shady I don't use any anti virus except malwarebytes on rare occasions. Even without antvirus I still have not gotten a virus/malware in years.

Run malwarebytes once a week,CCleaner daily![ hate tracking cookies], as for security uhmm whats that? no firewall security center off,no anti virus, use VPN with peer to peer servers. to download.... have i got a virus probably 2 in 10yrs..... and do what tw33tle does,and any other progs that have location setting, oh and yes have had the Microsoft calls[ love em] emails say know what you been doing pay etc. will admit ultra careful on stuff i do.even on safe emails.....i on those few occasions suspect maleware picks something up, i reload the PC nowt safer than clean instal

Can you afford to buy a $150 PC? It's not overclockable like the 2600K is. But it will run any of the newer games if you upgrade the Power Supply and put in an actual video CARD instead of using the onboard graphics. Don't try to upgrade the graphics without upgrading the power supply. You'll burn it up.

NVIDIA GeForce 7050. Dell OptiPlex ? Or older Laptop? Onboard graphics? or one of those goofy Dell video cards? I think it's time for an upgrade buddy lol. Is it a full sized case or a Micro? It's a miracle that you can play anything on that thing. I can imagine how bad your lagging in WOW. I feel your pain. My 6 year old custom built computer lags like shit in Guild Wars 2 when there are other people around and it's almost unplayable on certain World events. But I get 140+fps in DayZ Standalone which is a Much Much Much more graphics intense game. Guess it's one of the WOES of a horribly optimized MMORPG game. Check out this wonderful video of GTA 4 on it's lowest settings with Nvidia 7050 graphics. You can't get much lower performance. 1/2-1fps lol.

Might be a very good idea @BlackRose & @AthenA/ @McGrim With COD1 & 2 I played nothing else... In those days (2004 OMG) we played anything from 1:1 to 8:8 S&D, server with (clan)password, anybody could arrange a personal scrim anytime (password)...very very intense Is this possible @Merlin007 to quickly set up one of our servers by an Admin and have a war? Alternatively TDM with Friendly Fire on ...acause for a lot of swearing for some but comes closer to FT PSD: the S&D mod included warming up and bash round, winner decides on who starts, 60 secs between maps, maps selected beforehand etc.
