Years ago I started adding home automation to my house, for lighting I wen with the Insteon lighting control system. It worked perfect for years, we could travel and I could program my house for random lighting that made it appear that we were home by never having a sequence that didn’t look programmed. I had scenes programmed for entertaining that set all the interior and exterior lighting up that gave a nice ambiance. Well Thursday my hub controller went off line but still showed active but still leaving me with no control over my lights. I spent time during the weekend going through every aspect of what the problem could be with no resolve of the issue. last night it finally came out. Insteon has disappeared from the market and shut down all there servers and controls leaving all of us that used there equipment high and dry and no way to use our investment in equipment. It wasn’t cheap even though I did the whole install my self. It’s a eye opener when you really think of it. We add companies web based and cloud based systems to our lives with no guarantee that they will be around tomorrow. I hate how everything has gone to company owned and controlled systems that we have to depend on them operating all the time to use what we have already purchased and installed. This also goes for a lot of the apps and programs we use that we use to be able to buy but now have to have a subscription to use. Not real sure we are heading in a good direction with our technology.

Not sure if what I said was accepted as accurate or not. Or simply unpleasant to read all around. Im sure democrats dont want to hear that Biden, as the winner, is the lesser of two evils. History has shown that voters... except true believers of which there are many more these days... most of the time feel that they have to choose among two bad options picked by the respective parties. Its a very old maxim. We are pretty screwed however if either side of true believers gain absolute power. Which is what they want and to do it with zero opposition. And they will do and manipulate anything to get there. All the while insisting that its the other side that wants it while they dont. The question is which ones know this as those that want the power, and would use it, and which ones actually believe it who will give that power away willingly.

And thus the disconnect. You could have a lot of Biden voters say you are right who will then tell you to look at the worse alternative that you gave them. A lot of people that voted Trump the last time said the same thing to democrats. Look at what you gave as an alternative to him. The lesson of the day is, dont pick a ripe piece of shit as your candidate and then complain when you lose because voters choose a different piece of shit that may not smell quite as bad so long as you dont step on it.

Was either of the drivers given a ticket after the accident? I am sure you got a full Police report so you can get your truck replaced? Our 2021 Chevrolet Z-71 RST Crew Cab with 6.2L 420HP is the best truck I have owned and can't imagine my family being in a accident while driving it. I would hate to have to replace a Truck that is only 7 months old but I could if needed but I can't replace my family members or repair all types of injuries, but your pictures should remind us all that you can't replace Family or fix them should they be permanently injured. My question about a ticket issued goes to who may be legally at fault like the Tesla speeding to get thru the light since they can speed up very quickly and difficult for a driver to punch it and keep it under the posted speed limit. Breaking the speed limit to blow thru a yellow light in most States is against the law and the speeding violation would have happened first and would be the primary violation. Hope they continue to heal and feel better
