May 1st opening day on this watershed. We nicknamed this lake HEARTBREAK Lake. We’ve had some great days fishing this lake and then there’s all those other days lol. Today was a great one all together the 2 of us hooked 9 fish released 3 lost 2 and kept 4. We took home 2 Brown trout and 2 landlocked Salmon. The limit is 2 fish each ant combos the 2 species. The bench the 4 fish are sitting on is 22 inches for comparison.2 points

Sure looks like a nice place. Been wanting to go to a Fest. I am on the road working through October. I might be able to make it last minute, if it’s possible to find a place nearby.2 points

Opening Day of Low Lake Trout fishing was the 23 of April. First 2 pictures are of the 2lb 14oz. 19 inch Rainbow I caught fishing off a dock. End of the day Fish and picture of the lake I enjoy spending mornings drowning worms and drinking coffee that is just 15 minutes no lie from my house. Nice Pictures and smiles the fish are a bonus. major-mark63 reacted to KaptCrunch for a topic
the one before you installed game patch, note: those restores are from windows updates, if any date b4 game patch roll it back and use your dvd writer and retreve all you game files and maps.....so next crash no need to re download maps again and have you profile users\\you\appdata\activision\cog4 .....copy all in that folder and set show all files before you burn DVD disc, can also copy WaW folder too . so after burning the files run windows update and get the up date again1 point -
This guy is switching to Mac after a lifetime of Windows use

Both OSes have their strengths and weaknesses really depends on what you intend to do on your machine. I use a MBP and a Windows machine at work. At home use for browsing, audio/video calling I use my iPad + iPhone combo. I use custom built Windows machine for gaming ( yes I know I don’t as much now), dev work, and occasional video editing, phone backups. As many of you Windows users know by now the availability of SW support on Windows is extensive. The option to upgrade parts in custom builds is great. I also use Ubuntu Linux when I want maximum CPU performance for dev work and/or other things. Also, I get better online privacy with Ubuntu or well I am much more in control from an OS standpoint. My relationship with Apple’s products over the last 18 years has been a love hate affair. On one side you have this ecosystem that plays really well when all your gadgets are from the same family. Once you make peace with all you are “allowed” to do you really don’t feel the need for anything else. On the other hand it can be frustrating when you realize you want to do things a bit out of the box and then you have to pay a premium for the choices you have made for your computing needs. For gaming, that is PC gaming, Windows wins hands-down. Moving on to mobile computing Apple has delivered on performance and battery life where Windows devices including the ones from Microsoft have failed for the last quite a few years now. There is no one-shoe fits all solution anymore as computing requirements have diversified and technology is evolving at an exponential pace. As time goes, you will find that your choice of OS will become less and less relevant as they will all be doing the same things and mostly over the cloud. It will increasingly become a subjective choice informed primarily by personal preferences. Not to mention, the image conscious folk projecting their tech as status symbols.1 point -

Looks good buddy. I also have a 780 pro, I added grill grates to mine an use that to sear cross patterns into all my meat. Look up grill grates they usually run about 200° higher the what your smoker is set at. An you don't have to pull and turn up the heat. Also look up meat church bbq on YouTube. Matt does really good food an tells you everything about smoking you need. He is in Texas also, look him up an get you some Holy cow meat rub.1 point

Been smoking meats for a few years now. Yours looks great. When I do my Tri Tips I give them the final sear in a cast iron pan with butter and rosemary. Works great. Also I generally smoke 3 to 4 at a time. The first night is the sliced Tri tip and then I take the others and dice them up and a little extra seasoning and onions and make soft tacos with it. The family loves those tacos and the smoked flavor comes through perfect1 point

@YACCsterThanks for the inquiry. If I can make it, it will be a shorter notice and I'll hotel it or if there's a room to share later, maybe that. I've been reluctant to post this, but some of you will recall my wife Debbie was just recovering from a lung cancer surgery at the XI Fest at Niagra Falls in 2017. And you all surprised her with a birthday cake at the XI Fest in Carolina! She was cancer free for four years, but unfortunately returned this past October in the way of a metastasized tumor in her head and one in her lung again. After radiation, we are happy to say both have reduced in size and they say there is currently no active cancer. Also good, no chemo. So it's been slow recovery, getting her energy back, but still requires oxygen. She has told me to go meet you all without her, but too many unknowns until then. More testing in early June, so we'll see. Nice find @Ruggerxi! It looks like a great place to par-tay! Folks, please don't hijack this thread with sympathies - send a PM, if you must. @Ruggerxi1 point -
