sometimes the ingame crying is a bit much tho.. :cray: not just about the acr, but the usual whining that has become a server constant. i have found myself turning off team-chat so i can get away from and not have to listen to it, but then there are those that take the time to type it out for all to read, and that kind of BS just sucks the fun points right outta the game.

OOOOH! i totally agree with you on this one, but like @@NITRO said its the way for some to deal with anger and stress lol although some other players have been getting veryyy personal in game, all i say is admins are there for those issues let them deal with the suspicions and all. Sometimes you know when some players are just playing around and just want to annoy u lol but others u know its personal :o kinda sucks but oh well, i just sit back and chill and get negative ratios lol

I use 2 for Assault rifles and pretty much one of every other.

I only use 3 loadout slots. I used to have them all with different classes but found I really only used three reguarly.

not sure if something can be done about this or if people noticed and also would liek a change, but i do find the cars to be pretty annoying.

i use the anti car perk and the anti car nade.

and i have hard time to avoid those fukers. i mean to me something needs a change.

 

why not make the cars a defrost tool only ?

so that when they blow, they do not make damages, or way less

 

or maybe change the way those anti car perks and nades acts ?

like if u have the perk they will never hurt you, or make the nade like instant and not like u have to wait 5 seconds before it blows, its useless.

 

what u think ?

I think @@ChknFngr is really chicken... It makes the game far more interesting IMO. It's annoying when it's not your car but its super fun when it is :D. If the cars don't have explosive power, people would block them from defrosting and it would defeat the purpose. I used to use the Armor Piercing perk but only to find out that its ineffective against Body Armor, you still get the fucking helmet when people shoot at you. I use the Hardwired perk primarily to protect myself against cars and EMP nades. 

 

If I were you, I would learn to anticipate when a car is coming, and tricks to give the car a run around.

Some people use the the body armor perk, so I decided to start using the Armor Piercing perk. I was using the M16 with Stopping power, and I shoot a player but I get the Amor piercing icon (aka Helmet). The person turns around and shoots me with a M4 Carbine before I can shoot a 2nd burst. So I figured its useless to use it. On a different occasion I drop a predator missile on someone's head a I get a Helmet. I mean come on, its a predator missile why are you able to survive that. Anyways, I know you have heard it before and there are probably good reasons to keep the Body Armor perk but for things like a RPG rocket or Predator I think the body armor is over powered. Yes, I shot a rocket in someone's face and I got a body armor icon. I am all for the body armor earned by defrosting, just not the perk availed through the classes.

You will see it even with AP. Its just to show you that yes he has armor. But I can see how that can be confusing so perhaps something else would be better. Maybe the AP icon if the player has armor or another existing icon if you have one that comes to mind.

 

I know about armor and explosives. Its too good. In 1.46 it will work differently just not sure yet how. It should provide protection but less than it does now. I am open to suggestions.

u dont get it

 

all the anti car perks and nades are pretty much useless right now.

 

the EMP nades dont act like a nade, u cant cook it. Can we change it to do that ? that will be a lil more fair.

The car sucks bcuz I can be on a kill streak and then comes a car and when they run into you will respawning the car follows you cuz it knows your times going to run out soon.

One suggestion may be to remove the view of the timer for the car...that way the driver of the car does not know exactly how much time they have left to defrost vs going for a kill. This will make it a little more dicey trying to chase around someone with car blocker on. Also...maybe making it so that if you do not detonate your car before the timer runs out...it does not explode....no more of this automatic explosion at the end of the timer...this way, with no idea exactly when timer runs out...and the fact that you actually have to explode the car to make it kill someone...would make it a little more fair.

can we get the server set back to where it auto-balances and you cannot switch teams and stack em once the round starts?

 

its a little tiresome when the teams are off by 2 or 3 or more and no-one is willing to even them up..

I use a sub machine gun load out for small rush maps and an assault class for bigger maps.

@@Sammy does the armour currently protect against head shots?

Yes, unless you have armor piercing. Which is why the icon is a helmet.

@@Sammy is it possible to have the emp on a timer as the frag nade is? At the moment they are uncookable, so the car has time to drive off before the emp detonates.

 

If this were possible then the car operator would not have the chance to bugger off while you waited for emp detonation then come back to kill you.

 

Chicken is right, as it stands the emp is too avoidable and the hardwired perk only protects you until the car timer runs out.

 

Making the emp timed like a frag so you can cook it solves 99% of the problem I would imagine.

The nade class would have to work as a flashbang. So for example it would not work with a flare to defrost otherwise it would float in the air. It also wouldnt be able to go as far.

 

I suppose I could so something where a flash would affect the car like a player. It wont disable it but blind and stun it for a moment. That is probably straightforward to do because the car is just the player with a car mesh anyways. It would go with the flashbang. If this is acceptable I will see what I can do today. I am in the middle of a couple other things right now.
