Admin tags aren't working, My name shows fine as Totty>XI< but without  Adm on the end.

I've tried the mynameis function but still no joy.

Yes my MOD tags show up

They will work now. I had put a server var for steam players so their names would show up properly, but its unintended effect was on CD players, it would only use their folder name. I have fixed this now. @Totty

Other people who have issues with names and who use Steam, please launch the multiplayer EXE directly.

Trying to fix video lag and shit, i change video mode, it refreshes game, come in and my ESC key wont work, i have to leave game and come back any and every video change i try

Video lag? Can you elaborate? Do you know of any other server you can join and test if you experience the same thing?

It changed all my video settings, i THINK i have the video lag sorted changing video mode and refresh rate ect, im pc stupid so VERY frustrating trying to figure out where my settings were. And every time i change video mode i cant use my ESC key, cant join game or anything

Ah okay, I think what you are referring to is the expanded resolution support in COD4x client. It properly supports newer monitor WQHD resolutions and perhaps you have a widescreen monitor. Please set your monitor to 1:1 ratio, then choose the exact resolution in the game. As far as ESC key goes, I have experienced it too. I uninstalled and re-installed it then it went away. It's not that happens to everyone or all the time. This is a COD4x client behavior. I recall when this happened I removed COD4x then used the manual install method and it has worked fine. For me it was that I had to specifically press enter when making in-game menu selections. Hope that helps. Sorry for the trouble but this is a one-time pain to solve. Also, not server related since this is a client behavior.

I was able to reproduce your issue. This applies to everyone who is using custom resolutions. COD4x Client supports a large variety of monitors and resolutions that didn't exist when the game was released. It will box your custom resolution if it is smaller than your monitor's native resolution. Your ESC key might not work. Please ensure your monitor's ratio is set to 1:1 and then only use your monitor's native resolution in-game. We are using the latest version of COD4x server and client.

@iboomboomDid you add idle sway to the .44 Mag or change anything with the weapons? I haven't been following along. I had two narrow angles to defrost tonight and the defrost appeared to be interrupted by idle sway. I also noticed that my grey smoke grenade hid friendly tags which also stopped me from defrosting. Sometimes standing in smoke is a safe way to defrost.

I haven't changed anything in the weapons. The game engine is modified by cod4x server so there maybe some things that I do not know about either.

Earlier today server was hung, even though it hadn't completely crashed. This was caused due to an incompatibility in the code. I have applied the changes and rebooted the server. If you still experience random "disconnects" or rotation restarts please post them here. Thank you for your patience, enjoy the games.

I am a total PC dummy, i have to clue how to set ratio and have no idea what my "native" resolution is????

Your monitor has an OSD, go to picture settings and make sure the ratio is 1:1. If you tell me the model, I can look up the manual for you.

Not a complaint or issue. Just wanna say that the new mod on CoD4x feels so much better than the old one. Feels a lot smoother, hit reg feels way better. Great job Boom

Server timed out again at around 4:45pm EST. Map was Bog.

We have moved to the old server, but Countdown just repeated. Is that the only map on that server right now?

open powershell and paste this into it

it will spit out your resolution

No admins online? I will look in to what's causing this.
