Hey and don't get any ideas.I am not trying to offend anyone but that is what I(and every other little 6year old kid) were shown.

oh yeah, Tex Avery was & is one of my favorite cartoonists. MGM was priceless for their cartoon work in the 40's. I remember my friends & I trying to mimic the scream from Spike and Droopy in the school yard. Used to come home after school and watch the old Warner Brothers wartime cartoons.....long since banned. I miss them, they're from an era long since gone in this politically correct POS.

That brings back some good memories. Of the cartoons and the book. I think I still have the book. Somehow I saved a bunch of shit, I still have my first grade report cards. Damn book might be worth money now. Saturday mornings used to be something you couldn't wait all week for.

Kids just don't know what they are missing now days. All the polictical correct shit that changes every year. Do away with all that shit and live. That what the cartoons were meant for. Something that you could do and not worry about the real world.

When I got my first job after I graduated, I worked graveyard and had an apartment in town and actually got more than 3 channels. So I would get home about 7:30 in the morning get stoned and watch cartoons. They had a couple of hours of the older cartoons like that on. It was all good until I lit my bed on fire. LOL. True story.

Thanks for the memories
