I have deleted old PB and then reinstalled and updated my PB. I still have this problem. It is getting very frustrating. So far the only thing that I can find is that your servers need to to have PB updated as well. Can someone please help me figure this out? =LL=Monkey a.k.a. This issue is caused by the connection between the client and the server - there are several fixes you can try from reinstalling PB to simply restarting your router and all have varying success rates. All come back with NO packet loss.. I tested direct to evenbalance.com. and your servers as well.. uninstalled PB, reinstalled PB.. checked my modem firmware.. checked my modem noise level.. etc.. I am still getting kicked!!! I am now ALSO getting kicked for "Previous Kick/Ban" wtf??? I have been playing on these servers for almost 2 years now.. and now all of a sudden I am being kicked regularly.. and so are many other people.. This need to get looked into.. The "Previous Kick/Ban" is because you are banned for 2 minutes for the packet loss so nothing to worry about there. The issue is sporadic and there is no logical explantion for it, I personally had the issue for about two weeks non-stop... it then disappered and i havent had the issue since (This was Nov last year). (In CoD4MW folder) Then I got me the newest version downloaded at http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=dl-cod4.php and then updated 2x and it worked. If your pluged into your router reset all the plugs one might be a tad loose. Whats happing is your losing connections to the server more then B.B. say is acceptable. This can also get to be a real problem with cable subcribers as the line gets full. So no easy fix till your isp notices some issues with that line and up bandwith to it. I was on DSL (Now I'm on Fiber thank god). My ISP had me on a card in their switch gear that would load up after 7:00 pm my download speed would drop off and packet loss would increase. It was so bad sometimes I could not even play for the lagg. This happened to me twice, it took months of phone calls a visits from field techs until I finally got in touch with the correct tech who understood what I was saying. Gamers (we folk) are the people who stress our internet connections to the fullest. The average person browsing the net rarely uses the full potential of their internet connection. One other thing that gave me trouble was my Internet security ( I am not sure this would cause Packet loss) would lagg me as I did not have my game added to the do not scan list and have my gaming mode turned on. I fixed it by looking under the table and they were just waving at me saying "I am here!" and got them into the server again. Normal case really. Ok, I just need an admin that can clean the shells if the server, when becomes empty. , can you make a program for that !? You have to understand that this is a program that is monitoring your system as you play, for that to happen and no false positives appear it cannot be hassled or prevented from doing its job, so to prevent false positives it doesn't allow you to play with 'disallowed program/driver' and if it can't communicate with the server PB program it kicks you for communication errors.
