That is my fingernail from the middlefinger on my left hand! It was ripped straight off by a powerdrill that caught a piece of 16 gauge wire. It wrapped around the drill and my finger and ripped the nail from my finger. I had three shots while seeing the doctor 2 of them I didn't mind to much but 1 of them was put into the tip of my finger to deaden it while he coterized it to stop the bleeding, I can't tell you just how bad that hurt!
