We were on the Asylum map, after less than 10minutes, A NUKE STRIKES THE MAP and killed us all... :thumbdown: Nobody of us has launched it. Somebody have an idead about that? Sammy? :)

lol. Everybody? No there isnt a non-player tactical nuke strike. But there is a mininuke ambient. Along with mortars, airstrikes, B2, c-uav, emp etc. However its only 1/2 as powerful as the player one and does not end the game unless the players it does get are the last ones unfrozen. Ambient weapons can be shut off by the server if desired but to me its a fun monkey wrench to throw into the game for those "oh shit" moments. :w00t:

 

As for pistols, they shouldnt be overpowered and really no different than the guns they replace. Different weapons but same balance. I made the Glock a three-shot for testing but I dont remember if this beta has that or I removed it. However, which ones would you say are unbalanced? I will double check those.

Sure the Glock need just one kil in the body to kill. The others, i don't remember exactly, guess there is the Desert Eagle too, but not sure about the Colt.

 

About the nuke... I'm sure it was a nuke then end round... Same sound, same electric damage, same vision effets, then the DEATH on both teams lol

 

Ambient weapons should be disabled on small maps :/

Abient weapons will kill players on both teams and mininukes have the same radiation effects as the tacnuke. But not as long and not as deadly. However since this is a HC server more or less perhaps radiation damage needs to be tweaked. But before making a lot of changes we shall see how the next release works. Oh... because I tend to get alot of death streaks I added some simple death streak bonuses. Nothing like dead mans hand etc. I hate those ideas. But juiced, hollow points or a little bit of armor etc for a little help. One evening I said 'enough of this shit' and started coding. :hrhr:

We tried playing for a while tonight. Things were okay until mp_bpu_shack came up. We all got the file sum/name mismatch error a few times so Bama pushed the map forward. The next map was completely unplayable for Bama and me due to constant CI's. It's possible that the CI's were on our end but we don't usually get them that bad, We quit playing at that point.

By the way Sammy, I saw the change with the car, it's better now. The time to change player/car is really short and the car is faster and still can't jump. Nice job mate!

Just a word about another stuff Sammy. When we're spawning, we can't use grenades during a few seconds but tubes can be used... Can you fixed that? On small maps, this is totally unacceptable to see your entiere team killed cause one enemy tube is launched directly on the spawn... :blink::lol:

Yep I was on, had an awesome game on Acosta, full server, after first round in aerodrome everyone kicked, 9 ppl in now...

 

I volunteer to 'Avenger Assemble' a crew to test the new maps quickly like this, if I get the ok and some admin to agree to be part of the crew.

i cant give it a try i got a max. download of 40kb/sec. i tryed to stay but a half hour downloading is to much for me. once u are done with a download there comes another on and another one and so on.

 

can i may get the redirectlink for a download via pm or whateva. i wanna play it so much.

i played it this morning... spawn protection is VERY short compared to Chicago server... i fond the hitbox to be too big... fire near someone and they die!

Hit box are a bit too big..I was sniping a guy he was moving from right to left..aim ahead could not hit him..LMFAO I aim behind the opposite way he was going an inch he was dead...WTF!!!lol..

For now remove the maps with the 'index' issue from the rotation plz until I can figure that out. Not sure what you mean about hitbox. That is entirely game controlled and only modifiers for how much actual damage is done to specific areas (head, leg, torso etc) can be changed. Not whether or not something actualy hit.

 

I'll add Chinalake to the list of 'delayed' weapons but currently recovering from Cinco de Mayo magaritas. Ugh.
