I've always thought the keyboards with all the bells and whistles were a complete waste; especially the ones with costume movement keys. If that is what you are used to however, that obviously doesn't matter. I sometimes go to friend's house or a lan center however, and trying to play on a regular keyboard once you get used to the special one seems problematic.

The most important factors and requirements for me have always been:

It must be mechanical - once you go this route, you will never, ever,

                                                                                                            ever, go back.

The f keys must be as close to the regular number as possible (for extra keybinds/rts games).

This landed me with a noppoo choc mini. It's everything I've ever wanted in a keyboard.

I too must have a mechanical keyboard so I use a Ducky Shine 3. It is avalible in several different switches(Blacks are what i use)so you can choose how soft or firm you want to keys to feel.

Several models all same execpt with different color backlit keys and the different switches.  It is heavy at 3 lbs, since it is standard size, You could beat someone to death with this thing. I haven't ben gaming much latley but love this keyboard.

Mechanical keyboards are OK but ya gota push them down alot further and if they use the same clicky buttons that a mouse has Reliability might be an issue.

I have the Merc Stealth also and love it.

The only problem is, Break a Key, and then try to get a replacement.

I Did, emailed and called them, and they Would Not Sell Me A Replacement Key!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They said "It's counterproductive to our business to sell replacement keys to the community"....

I Then Told Them, "First Time Owning Your Products.... Last Time Owning Your Products!!!!!"

Thanks for nothing....

BTW no other company carries keys for it.

I wound up taking a key out of another socket cutting and reshaping to replace my broken Down Arrow Key.

So when it breaks for good, my keyboard will be replaced by another Company that is not run by SHITBAGS!
