Taken with my telescope + camera. Could find the right pc to fit between the camera and scope so really was just the camera using the scope as a 2000mm lens, would have like to have gotten the sun/moon in a full shot. Meanwhile, my kids traveled to Solar Eclipse parties in different parts of the country and had a blast, took great photos... SO. I have decided. We are off to Western Iceland for the Aug 12, 2026 Total Solar Eclipse (volcanos be damned.) I have been to Iceland before, it was June, and froze my butt off... it was windy, it was bleek and grey, sleeting the whole time, no flowers, no greenery, just greys, just sayin. https://skyandtelescope.org/astronomy-news/plan-now-for-the-2026-total-solar-eclipse-in-europe/ Timmah!, E-raser and ALanHim 3
