Been looking at Monitors a bit. My old one is a 32 inch curved Samsung 60htz.
I know many posts have been done looking for monitor advice. I’m thinking this is plenty for COD4. My system is plenty to run this game and more. My video card is an Aorus GeForce 3060.
Is this monitor good enough? I’m sure the 180hz is more than enough for this old game.
Looking for opinions.

last year stock  and  DP version   1.4

DisplayPort 1.4 supports resolutions of up to 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 240Hz, while DisplayPort 1.2 supports resolutions of up to 4K at 60Hz.

and power consumption is 65Watts idel .03 watts

LG monitors are famous for their durability and energy efficiency, and IPS monitors excel in wide viewing angles and exceptional color uniformity.

Ontario is $469.99 best buy  (cheaper link less spec's) seems nice gaming screen to G-sync and FREE-Sync, see if can go to store and look before buy.

Looks pretty sweet. Couldn't find an exact review for that model, but the ultragears seem to have low input lag which is good. I'd be surprised if any of the major brands gaming monitors had bad input lag in this day and age right enough.

Make sure and check https://www.testufo.com/ once it's set up to make sure you are getting the full 180hz!

A question, do I use a Display port cable and/or an HDMI. I'm not sure if this comes with cables although it should.

What about G_sync my card can do that as well. If all else fails I'll read the instructions and G()()gle it.

Given the age of the game and hardware, you'd be fine with using either HDMI or display port.  Display port does have some higher end capabilities with resolution and speed.

Here's a bit of read if your interested.  https://www.tomshardware.com/features/displayport-vs-hdmi-better-for-gaming

Looking at the manual, it seems to suggest display port is needed for 180hz with that model.

Don't know much about gsync. Maybe someone else can chime in. It also has an option to set response time to "faster".

I just recently bought me a 43" and it was a house model TCL. I saved more tham $70 bucks by going this way. The brand names are great but fir what you are doing I am sure a lesser brand will work!

Just checked the Nvidia control panel. All working at factory settings. Everything was installed automatically. The GOU recognized the monitor as be g-sync and the installation was seamless.
Running at factory settings because I’ve never been one to fully understand over clocking etc.
