Oh every time you go to Spec and back in it leaves a body on the ground.I went to spec 10 times and it left 10 bodies laying on the ground.It Gave me ammo and grenades from them when I switched teams.

Hmm. Scavenger packs were designed in such a way so that there could only be one bag max per player. So if you die, and the newer scavenger pack dropped, the older one is removed. If 10 were dropped and could be recovered, that shouldnt happen. Unless I added some extra option I forgot about. It doesnt remove the ragdolls however. Those have their own body removal timer of 60 seconds or something. Or should.

 

For scavenger, it was moved so perk 1 would be strictly for explosives and specialty items. This is in fact the way it was supposed to be when cod4 was originally released but perk1 didnt have enough options so they moved some things around.

A bunch of us played (10-12) and it was fun, here are my observations:

 

The bad:

 

- Everyone spawns with 70 points body armor

- Guided rocket doesn't kill instantly, body armor protects. need 2 rockets to kill

- Snow flake on screen is very obtrusive, please remove it

- My own EMP nade jams me if I don't have Hardwired

- Killstreaks don't always show in the bottom middle of the screen

The body armor is horrible, i might as well go back playing freezetag 1, this is totally no hardcore that is for sure!

I used the Rpd and it has in every game and every mod a powerfull weapon, now if you would use a waterpistol you have a better chance on killing.

EMP does Not Disable RC Cars It slows them down for a couple seconds like it's Stunned but it does not disable them.Nothing will protect you from an RC CAR even if you do have protection all the RC has to do is follow you till it's timer runs out.

 

I like the old EMP nade alot better.

Everyone has it? It should only be people with the perk. Maybe I missed something. I forced it when testing it against explosives. Maybe I forgot to remove that. :rolleyes:

Which guided rocket? SMAW? The damage is the same as RPG but lower radius with high accuracy. But I will see if there is something usual with that one. How about rpg?

Snowflake?

Yes your own EMP affects you. Like your own flash affects you. Also like your own frag kills you.

Which killstreaks did you get that didnt show? How did you get them? Any common occurrence that would help me reproduce the problem?

Even if you throw EMP directly on the car? Other than the car, how was old EMP better? Note: Strike package RC+ cars are immune.

What specifically are the three missing MOH items? I dont have the G13 mod onhand.

 

And....................

 

If the armor/emp bugs are worked out,is the mod good enough for the main server as a work-in-progress?

Console log errors: Several repeated errors related to EMP nade defrosting. Looks like its probably a bad variable name. One sentrygun problem. I think when looking for players to target someone was specing or something so there was no actual player model. Or maybe at that specific server frame someone was dead. One of those freak occurrences.

If you get the Armor fixed I would put it up.

 

It is giving everyone armor without having the perk.And with the perk it seemed to give double the amount of armor.It takes 2 RPGs and 1/2 a clip from the Startch308 at close range to kill ATM.

Armor seems to be fixed.

 

 

Novagas takes 2hp per for 11 hits so 22 HP out of 30 it should kill you without having the gas mask on but it doesn't.

RCXD, Missile they show up some times and other times they didn't. I would die holding a car, use the car get another car and then a missile but they don't show at the bottom.

Some things, like the gas, are likely config settings done for the other server that needs to be transferred to this one. The explosives vs armor thing should be fixed also. Yea it might have been giving double protection instead of 1/2 protection.

 

edit: For all those commands, I dont remember the ow2 mod ever having those. Maybe I am wrong. As for missing icons, all seems to be correct. However you could be seeing the normal 'fade-out' effect like the weapons loadout. Pretty sure there is a setting for that. I forget which and will look.

 

Ok I remember now why I didnt add them. Each of the three requires one menu. So it would take three more. Menus are in very short supply and I dont think I have that many available unless I were to rewrite the whole thing so only one menu is needed. Fairly significant job.

Kinda figured that the extra menus would be a pretty big job.

 

 

 

The Fade out could be removed all together.You can't see your HP or ammo or available kill streaks unless you fire which will give your position away to the enemy.

 

 

The Snow Flakes that BoomBoom mentioned about.They appear over all frozen people.They're a bit annoying as they can be seen the whole way across the map and some times get in the way of aiming.

It doesn't matter. Sometimes you could be defrosting and enemy would be behind the snow flake, shoot you and you wouldn't even know.  I do like the idea though, can we make them translucent like 80%?

Pretty sure that would work. But I checked and its a simple switch to just turn them off. Will be that way on next server restart. Have some hotfixes to upload but not until a bit later until after I get dinner cooking.

Uploaded a couple hotfixes and changed the hud so the loadout should always be on. I dont think anything else on the hud was changed but post if something isnt right or has a problem.

@@Sammy The Novagas nades now hit for 13 dmg per pulse they kill Quickly.Might be a tad to much damage now lol

 

Dmg was 2 hp per pulse now it's 13

 

If you could get it to hit for 4 dmg per pulse it would take 7 pulses to kill or 5 dmg would be 6 pulses or 6 dmg would be 5 pulses

 

somewhere between 4 dmg and 7 dmg per pulse would be the sweet spot.

Copied over config settings from the other server. Seemed that was the one people were the most happy with. On that server how many pulses did it take to kill?

Issues being worked on:

 

Forgot to disable, since it was meant to be for testing, but smaw will lock onto players if in reticle for 4-5 seconds. The rocket will track. Accurate but tends to hit small hills.

I will leave it on for now but dont know yet if it will be in the final release. I like it but not sure if its fair.

Hardwired not working correctly against enemy emp. Message doesnt disappear until respawn.

Still seems to be an issue of earned streaks not always showing up on hud. But they still work.

If able, plz see if there is a problem activating the stealth heli when you get it but before you die. Note that some maps dont have heli support. In which case you will see a msg.
