I think you are referring to the restart that I announced on the server, perhaps a few moments before you joined.

Can you elaborate a little bit on this. What happens? Also, try joining without the patches just uninstall them using the manual uninstaller here: http://74.91.119.86/cod4xclient/cod4xclient.zip  Unzip the directory in your game's installation folder and then run the uninstall.cmd. Then just join the server and see if you can connect. If not, try the install.cmd file. The automated installer may not be working well for older OSes. Also, did you install all the redistributables?

For those who have older PCs with Windows 7 please do the following:

• Install https://aka.ms/vc14/vc_redist.x86.exe
• Download the attached zip file
• Decompress it inside the game installation folder and run install.cmd

If you are having issues or still do not have COD4x Client installed visit this server. It will prompt you to download the files.

While I sort out the issues with the managed COD4x server on NFO. We have an alternative COD4x with the same mod here.

As soon as I started COD4 game, got these flags from Bitdefender. Don't recall this last time I played so just wondering if it's something new or is this expected?

Yeah, I don't know why they flag it. Maybe it's the weird domain extension. 4 years ago when someone suggested I try cod 4x I also stopped to to think and didn't. Then a little later I did and well we are here now.

So this one is for some automatic update then?  What about the filter?

Not entirely sure but I suspect its their subdomain where you fetch the servers list from their master server?

I can't seem to get into the server. All my stuff is up to date too. I can't join in manually or even find the servers on the list anymore. They used to be set as a favorite and won't show up either. Its saying Cod4x is all up to date.. so im not sure what I am missing. 

Thoughts?

Please connect to 74.91.116.93:28960. It auto install cod4x if needed.

I attempted to and it just says 'awaiting connection' until it times out.

Do you have some sort of Firewall blocking any ports? Are you able to connect to other COD4 servers?

- Run a ping in window to 74.91.116.93 Open Command Prompt type ping 74.91.116.93

It says timed out-- And I was playing in the server just fine a week or two ago, and I haven't changed anything as far as firewalls. I was able to join the MW test server

then hit enter. What happens?

It says awaiting connection -- until it times out.

This doesn't sound right, or whatever reason your connection to the server is blocked. DO you know how to run a ping? Can you please try doing that and it will confirm my suspicion.
