Well Mrs. Smeggie and I are taking a trip that nobody wants to take.

Headed to Eastern Texas to settle my father (who will be 95 in 3 weeks) and step-mother into a nursing home.

Dad is basically blind and my step mother has dementia.  

Neither of them can care for one another anymore, and they decided it's time.....

Probably will be the last time I get to see my dad, unfortunately.

I am sure I will need some in game banter from @ShadyBrady, @Tiger! and @Qualicum when I get back....so be prepared!  😄😎

Been there too , its easier when they realize by themselves thats ok to move , we had lots of works to change my father mind , only a long visit to hospital made accept to move in elder residence .
