I noticed this message in the bottom right hand corner of my screen this morning "Windows 7 build 7600 this copy of windows is not genuine" wtf i got a free upgrade when it came out been running it for 18 months now, whats going on anyone knowUndecided

We had some computer work done at my office and the machines came back with Windows upgraded....after a while we got the same shit...it turns out it was hacked copy...lesson...never let the local computer geek fix your machine....

We just went through some MS updates Tuesday one probably went bad or needed a comfermation from you to contuinue. Try running update again and it shoud fix it for you. If that fail is just a call to India to fix it. Allo youis it ack may you help you

I did have a new graphic card installed but that was 1 year ago, i noticed we got some ms updates the other day, now that i think about it i'm sure it said 1 failed, how do i find them now to re-install them?

while doing updates from microsoft you should get an app that scans for genuine windows then youmll know what the problem is or you should and youmay need  a new key as mentioned earliera

Check your computer (right click computer) properties and control panel and see if they are affected.  It can work fine or it can limit some activities.  If everything works...kewl.  It can have a bad update or file error and think that windows isn't legit.  I ended up reinstalling vista recently because of this (i had changed motherboards though).

mine turned to shit after an update from microsoft, spent an hour getting it cleared up with microsoft before it was fixed, all I had was a browser ( no desktop) and two links, one to buy the OS the other to report my copy...what a bunch of microsoft BS

Mine does the same thing...Fortunately for me, I reformat my rig about every six months.  

 

It's a complete pain in the ass to circumvent...best thing is call Microsoft and get them to issue a new number for you.  Problem solved!!
